Inflamed by pride and an insatiable wish for death in honor, every player on the team have sworn an oath not to leave the team by no means but death. In this fashion: No player on the team will ever retire.

Due to their pride, they have also made sure not to be able to use any trick (cheats as they call them) to leave the team without retiring. This includes, but is not limited to: Refusing help from the apothecary upon death, forfeiting a game in hope the player will leave or retiring the team altogether.

To ensure that their oath is strong enough, they also made certain that "fair" challenges may not be refused. Due to the wide relativity of fairness in the fumbbl world, the team has defined a "fair" challenge as either:

- A challenge RECEIVED from a team up to 10 TS from theirs, no matter the team race or overall make-up OR
- A challenge SENT to a team no more than 10 TS under theirs, no matter the team's race or overall make-up.

As a final note, if any other coach notices a loophole or any weakness in the oath that may make it weak, they request that their coach be notified of it so that the oath may be updated.
