(WIL Fringe) 1st Ever Fringe League Cup With a 1/2/0 record I wasn't expecting much (6-5 on TDs, 0-8 on casualties), but thanks to other results going my way I just sneaked the win!
The team gained as many points in a 7-game season as they got in the previous 3-game competition. Went from not losing a game, to not winning one. A form record of LDLDLLL, conceding 2 touchdowns in all but 1 game (the final match, where they lost 4-1). In every way, shape, and form... an awful season. The team was only saved from retirement due to the coach's bloodymindedness, and determination to manage a team for more than 2 seasons. Oh, and the 3 surviving gutter runners were starting to look pretty good.
Form guide: WLWL*WW (* = forfeit loss) The team performed much better this season; highlights being a 5-1 win over the other skaven team (...who collapsed from 1-1 at halftime with some brilliant/awful dice), and winning the last 2 games to just squeak into the final promotion spot (also thanks to the aforementioned skaven beating the undead in their last game)
Form guide: DLDLLL This season, the team were rubbish, the coaching was rubbish, and life in general was rubbish. Going into the last game (against another skaven team), a win would have brought about a 3- of 4-way tie for the final relegation spot, and bringing things down to various tie-breakers to see which team would drop. And the team lost. A fitting end to the team's history in WIL...
