Origins in the Universe

After engaging in Battle with the Brotherhood of Mutants, Gateway unleashed his power attempting to send the mutants into the centre of a volcano, Jean Grey attempted to block this telepathically and this lead to them being transported to the Blood Bowl world. Here they fight in the Black Box league defending the rights of humans everywhere from rampaging mutants attempting to use their powers for evil until a time as they can return home.
