Tharonins' Deathwishers
Roster [L] Chaos Renegade

It was an ill wind that blew that day. Tharonins' hold was ransacked by all manner of foul possessed creatures and the old thanes' people were not prepared for the onslaught that followed. Many dwarves died that day and although Tharonin fought bravely he knew that all was lost...or was it?

A foul, warped and twisted Troll grabbed for Tharonins' beard but with a flash of silver his hand axe severed the trolls hand and he broke away from the foul creature.
The trolls hand was already regenerating so Tharonin raised a call to arms and his remaining clansmen rallied around him. A hundred dwarves formed a shield wall around the troll facing out to stop the trolls allies from aiding him. A band of slayers jumped the troll and hacked him to pieces. The screams were blood curdling until a dwarf engineer dealt the final blow with a small barrel of oil and a smashed lantern, engulfing the body parts in flame.
The shield wall opened just enough to allow entry to small bands of chaos scum and then closed again trapping them in the slayers death pit.
Slowly but surely the dwarfs were turning the tide of battle and then came a rumble from below them.
Malakai & his Mining team came out from beneath the ground and over two hundred dwarves spilled from the earth like lava from a volcano. Pickaxes whirled through the ranks of the chaos filth and within an hour the battle was won.
All that remained were a handful of filth ridden bandits and monsters that Tharonin ordered to be sent to the holds dungeons.
The old dwarfs fury at the loss of his people was beyond measure and a simple death was not punishment enough for their crimes.

'Tharonins Deathwishers' are made up of the prisoners he took that day and they are pushed out on to the pitch to face a beating and possible death... if they are lucky.As all dwarfs love gold the thane wagers on the success or failure of his team. Any gold he wins from these games goes to the families of his lost clan brothers to help their families rebuild their lives.
