Formed for the 2006 <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=1825>Champion's Cup Challenge</a>

The Old World Undead have arisen. Fresh from the morgues and graveyards comes Exhumed Corpse, ready to destroy and convert the players of the CCC to their unholy pact with death.

After a dissapointing start to their CCC career, failing badly in the 1st Universal Invitational (Vidar Invitational) for the season. Exhumed Corpse accepted an offer to improve their playing abilities in the SWL Fringe before tackling the first Racial Invitational (Frey Invitational) in February.

(1st Round) Poor first up showing saw us outclassed by a more experienced outfit in <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=215035>Rotten Bar</a> losing our ghoul <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2535885>Graverobber</a> who was raised and now plays as a <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=2592145>Zombie</a> for them.

Granted entry to the SWL Fringe to build up more experience with an eye to an improved performance for the rest of the CCC season. Finish time in the SWL with a 4/2/0 record... bring on the Frey Invitational. Necrosis turning his hand to coaching.

(1st Round) Another half assed effort from the Corpse. Well beaten by the Chaos Dwarf outfit <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=202371>General Destruction</a> and losing yet another ghoul.. this time the debutant <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=2660756>Necrophiliac</a>

(Semi Final) A much improved effort from the Corpse in the first major for the CCC season 06. Three quality victories, strong violent victories actually, where casualties allowed us to control the games saw us romp into the semis. This success saw the Raising of two opponents Alcarin (glorious) and Headless Wonder the latter joining the coaching ranks before salary cap constraints saw all coaches made redundant, and money flushed down the drain. Victories over <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=119949>Wilwarin</a>, <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=216704>Khrage's Khaotic Kowboys</a>, and <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=202422>Weak</a> before we were soundly beaten by <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=143848>Nothin' Specials</a> in a game where we failed to do any damage, made some stupid decisions but also were very much Nuffle's Bitch. Both Werewolves and a Ghoul recieved serious injuries this match, 2 of them in dodging accidents. Rabies succumbing to a Niggling Injury and being retired to the coaching ranks. Things not looking good for the upcoming Aesir Open. Another stint in the SWL Fringe may be on the cards.

Feeling very sore and sorry for ourselves, with doubts in our ability to compete in the upcoming Aesir Open II, the team took a quick roadtrip to the Southern Wastes, and who do you think we bumped into... but the reigning champions of the <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=1150>Cut Throat League</a> the <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=159410>Fallen Ark Wraithlords</a> kicking back and enjoying the laid back atmosphere of the Fringe. A game was organised, and an exciting 2-2 draw eventuated. Feeling a lot more confident, a cashed up Corpse bought a replacement Wolf found roaming the wastes in the form of Dire and hopped back on the bus. Bring on the Aesir Open.
