Some say this team fell from the sky, landing in the Chaos wastes, wearing strange blue and yellow armour that crackled like lightning, carrying strange-looking blunderbusses that destroyed all before them. Claiming to be 'marines' of the 'Thousand Sons' they terrorised the area until their weapons suddenly seemed to lose their power...

Some say what fell to the ground was sixteen empty suits of armour, surrounded by a strange glow, no-one daring to disturb them. Then one day, a group of barbarians from the region came too close, and from the armour came sixteen ghosts or spirits, that took over the barbarians' bodies, causing them to mutate...

Some say they were the chaos warband of Aaraketzch the Flameheart, until he lookied into the eyes of a Lord of Change, which granted him a vision of another world. Seeing a giant cyclopean man leading an army into battle for Tzeentch inspired Aaraketzch to immediately swear allegence to this Magnus the Red, and follow his teachings...

What is known for certain, is that this former warband now hunts on the Blood Bowl pitch. That they follow Tzeentch is unquestioned (which means there is a fairly good chance that all of the above stories have been true at one stage or another!) and that they share their master's hatred of Nurgle is also undoubted. Loving nothing more than to decimate and humiliate a Rotters team in front of a huge crowd, this is a team to watch for in Chaos Cups of the future...
