THE MIGHTY FISTS...
One of the oldest teams in Spuds Bowl history, the Fists finally won their first trophy with MCCC Open 3; and since then haven't stopped winning, adding Spuds Bowl XIV and Spuds Bowl XV to the trophy cabinet.

They went all the way to the MCCC Open final in Season 17, before being a handed a defeat by a new rising force, Saltash Slaughteers. This led to a few seasons of mediocrity, as coaches came and went, and Vendettaz saw the armband stripped away from him. A first round exit from the Open in S20 was the final straw.

Old captain, Muzzoliniz, returned as coach of the Fists, leading them to victory in the MCCC Open (S21), and then onto a win in the 22nd Spuds Bowl final. But due to a scandal Muzzoliniz left the club, with his assistant - Romio - taken up the reins. In S25 they made their way to the Open final, before suffering a shock defeat to the hands of Valhallas Heroes. Romio was ousted during a terrible showing at Spuds Bowl 26: with the Fists failing to win a game in the group stage for the first time ever. Miggi became temporary coach, but as they drift into their 27th season, the Fists are at a crossroads.

Captain's Corner:
1.The first captain of the Fists was Muzzoliniz: he burst upon the scene, but ended up retiring after Spuds Bowl X with the Fists having again failed to make a major final (20g/41spps/capt: 22 club games).

2.Hard-man Bocca Bocca< took the captain's armband, and helped the team rebuild to become a force, leading them to the final of an MCCC Open against their Orc rivals, Da Ball Chuckaz. The Fists won; but Bocca Bocca fell to the floor on a failed go for it...and never got to his feet again (30g/47spps/capt. 9 club games).

3.Long serving blitzer Die Nolfo became captain on BB's death, leading them to victory in Spuds Bowl 14 before retiring due to moutning injuries (33g/16spps/capt. 4 club games).

4.Play-boy and play-maker Vendettaz led the Fists to glory in Spuds Bowl 15, before failing to lead the team to glory, suffering defeat to the Saltash Slaughteers in the final of MCCC Open 17 and again in Spuds Bowl 18. For this shame, he was stripped of the captaincy (G36-G46; 11 club games).

5.Relatively unknown and rookie Grunson Nantor became the 5th captain of the Fists in Season 19 (G47). But after disapointing displays - including a first round MCCC Open exit (S20), he was removed from the captain's post by new coach, old star Muzzoliniz (total: 4 club games).

6.The captain's armband was given back to Vendettaz, who scored on his debut return (G51-onwards). He led the Fists to MCCC Open 21 glory, and then success by picking up Spuds Bowl 22. During his second spell as leader of the team, he became the longest serving captain of the Fists.
