| The DC Post-Hardgores are a team hailing from the federal capital of Washington, Demon City. All of the players used to play in simpler, brute-force teams that relied mainly on pure strength to find the quickest route through their opponents to the goal, much in the same way a cannon finds the quickest route through a torso to hit a wall. When these short-lived teams disbanded, some of their members who still wanted to play BloodBall found themselves learning to express their style of sport into more refined, strategic forms that still retained a necessary amount of muscle. Thus, the DC Post-Hardgores were formed. The original roster of the DC Post-Hardgores contained members of Rites of Ing, (Brubrunt Canty, Zodgrim Janney and Grimstuf Picciotto), Miner Threat (Magarg MacKaye, Ogbag Preslar, Badfug Baker, Groturty Nelson and Snagathug Hansen), Girl-Orcs Vs. Boy-Orcs (Grotgrim Janney), Fugazus (Magarg MacKaye, Grimstuf Picciotto, Brubrunt Canty and Gobrot Lally) and Clawbox (J. Ratfug). Ratfug was killed in the team's second match against the James Names and was replaced by Damnation of Ulysses lineman Igor Svenonious.
