The coach of such teams as Las Shamblas and Man Chew United was signed up to take part in another Rock Paper Shotgun league and all the other coaches had resolved to bring new teams to the table. Better suited to the punchball tactics he knew best, he nevertheless decided to dip his toe into the mysterious waters of elfbowl.

Unfortunately he got excited when he saw a treeman listed as a free agent and paid him the extortionate sums he was asking for and so couldn't afford to pay for proper wood elf players to fill out the rest of the team. Unflustered, he's poured some of wood elf society's drunkards and vagrants into uniforms in the hope that if he keeps them sober - or at least the right amount of drunk - they'll be able to play something resembling Blood Bowl.

And after all, he's a very BIG tree.
