"An early overtime mistake costs the team greatly. Bounced out of the playoffs in the semi-finals by a Necromancy team that was intent on killing as many lizards as possible. The Gorn team started slowly going down 1-0 in the first half when the Skink backfield couldn't pick up the ball under pressure. In the second half a opposition mistake allowed the team back into the game and the Gorn team forced overtime. In overtime everything was lining up for a Gorn victory. They received, the kick-off was a touchback, but a Saurus blitz on a unskilled zombie proved too much with the Saurus tripping himself up. Mr. Green isn't sure he'll be back to this league but the Gorn team will be back for next season somewhere, somehow."
