The world changes, and society changes. No good thing lasts forever. I love American Football: I love the complexity and explosiveness and violence and the vast number of different types of specialized athletes all working in concert and in opposition with one another. But I can't watch American football, hockey, or rugby anymore. I never liked MMA or boxing, but I wouldn't watch it if I did. This is hard for me, and with this decision, FUMBBL has established a new meaning for me. Cumulative subconcussive trauma is no laughing matter. If you care about the brains of smart, healthy young people, you will join me in boycotting American football, and remembering its glory days for what they were. Now, let's wreck some pixlz! |
