After hearing the Middenland Manglers were destroyed and replaced by a wary Ogre team, Boris 'Killjaw' Reed was infuriated. Boris was renowned for loaning out money to aspiring BB teams in the hopes they would gain fame and fortune under his name. With so much money at his disposal, such a thing was a fairly easy task but he intended for all the head coaches and respective team franchises to report directly back to him, with sponsoreships, money and trophies. His fascination begun after seeing headlines of a goblin team known as the Snotcrag Sneakers, who had won a trophy in the TG league division as well as the reputation (or in their case notoriety) they had garnered.

But so far to no avail. The Head Coach of the Middenland Manglers too, who he had assigned to the original team, had abandoned them for the Ogres. To make matters worse, the Ogre team managed to achieve second place in the season with the Head Coach celebrating and running wild with his team during celebrations. Reed, enraged that such talent had ditched him so casually, decided to equip and field his own team managed by himself.
