Player StoryThe day had been a dream for Jerome. Family, former teammates, and friends congratulated him for his induction into the NFL Hall of Fame. These things were legends that he could only dream about as a boy. Now, five years removed from a career that boasted 13 seasons, 6 pro bowls, 94 touchdowns and 13,663 rushing yards Jerome looked back with nostalgia. For a moment he prayed. "I would give anything to relive those glory days."

That was all it took. In another realm Nuffle was listening and gave the strings of fate a muscular tug. Jerome's essence was torn from its outdated human body and thrust into the body of a caged raging Beastigor.

Coach Kondor addressed him by name. "Mr. Bettis, welcome to Zainbaijin. Through chaos magic you have been pulled to this world. With your skills, in that body you will be a legend on the Blood Bowl pitch. We will give you a few days to process what has happened so you don't hurt anyone. Player StoryIt took Kondor no time to find what he was looking for. The city of Zanbaijin's constabulary was a Brute Squad paid in mead and sauerkraut. The idea of being paid to break skulls was a prospect they would not reject. The entire squad save one individual was signed to a standard one season contract. That exception would be known through Zainbaijin legends as Fezzik “the Giant.” Actually Fezzik wasn’t a full giant. He was really a troll-giant hybrid with razor sharp claws and surprising knack for blocking as well as a pro in most aspects of the game. Kondor had found his Franchise Player and the foundation of his team.
