Darft Bane possesses an extremely strong will. On multiple occasions when severely wounded, he refused to surrender, using the power of the dark side to fuel himself and keep playing.

A practical Gobbo, Bane finds no value in wealth or other material possessions, believing that the worth of an object is directly correlated to its usefulness. He also does not believe in the concept of honorable death, viewing honor as a fool's prize.

Though he is absolutely ruthless and never hesitates to kill when he believes it is necessary, Bane is very disdainful of those who kill without purpose, viewing those who enjoy killing as barbarous, perverse fools. Still, Bane is willing to kill without a second thought, and has done so on many occasions.

Darft Zannah showed no fear of the Great Gobbo upon their first meeting, instead admitting that he, like him, was also a Blood Bowl fanatic. With time, Zannah grew in cunning and ingenuity, and the Great Gobbo became impressed with his subtle and calculating nature.

Zannah displayed a hunger for knowledge and readily accepted the Great Gobbo's offer to coach him, passing several tests as a rookie to convince him of his dedication.

Darft Cognus thrives on the misery of others and relishes being able to personally witness their suffering.

The Great Gobbo took note of his intelligence and wisdom on several occasions and was pleased with his choice of the name "Cognus" which, to him, signified his awareness of the superiority of his mental powers over his fighting prowess.

Millennial is not one to blindly follow his coach and questions everything he is taught, formulating his own opinions. He sees strength in numbers especially when it comes time for blocking or fouling. He feels that the captain should be the strongest member of the team and that if another player becomes stronger than the captain, he has the right to claim the captaincy for himself.

Millennial has great belief in himself and his abilities, but whilst supremely confident in himself he knows when to run and hide.

Darft Vectivus is a ruthless individual and is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, a trait he promotes in others as well.

During his time as a player for the Dark Side, Darft Gravid was drawn to the light side of the soul and began to believe that the team's absolute dedication to the dark side was a flaw. He attempted to introduce Halfling characteristics into his lifestyle and play. However, Gravid has begun to lose his sanity as a result.

Darft Tenebrous is a rationalist in his approach to Blood Bowl, and he is covered in tattoos and body markings representing Goblinoid symbols of luck and safety.

Darft Plagueis rejects common morality and interpersonal ties as artificial restrictions fabricated by the weak to control the strong, but he has developed a genuine bond with his team-mate Darft Sidious.

Plagueis is wise and possesses a logical mind. When he wrote his journals on the nature of Blood Bowl he wrote them primarily in Gobbo, but he curiously wrote all of his words backwards. Plagueis is pathologically afraid of death.

Through his own nature Darft Sidious is evil incarnate. He believes himself to be the embodiment of darkness and the living incarnation of the dark side of the soul. He is instinctively treacherous, betraying and killing numerous beings who trusted him. He has shown that he is also patient, arrogant, vastly intelligent, and an incredible actor.

Darft Sidious has also displayed traits of psychopathy, including extreme sadism and cruelty, taking considerable pleasure in the suffering and deaths of others. Darft Vader also mentioned on one occasion that while he himself kills only when necessary, Sidious does it to amuse himself.

He also views all sentient beings that are not Goblins as inferiors, likening them to children floundering about aimlessly, ignorant of their own shortcomings and incapable of fulfilling their aspirations.

Darft Maul is little more than a being of pure hatred and evil, thanks to his harsh, severe training under the Great Gobbo. However, he is not completely heartless, granting those he feels worthy of his respect quick and painless deaths. He is even capable of some level of emotional connection with others, feeling respect, admiration, perhaps even a level of attachment towards his coach, despite his torturous years under the Great Gobbo, likely because he knows nothing else.

As Darft Sidious observed, Darft Maul is obsessed with achieving absolute victory in anything and at any cost. Sidious regards Maul as a terrifying being capable of withstanding pain in order to succeed against all odds. He is brave, yet prideful as well. Maul is heavily prone to acts of gloating, despite his coach's disapproval.

On the field, Maul is a ruthless and implacable enemy, possessed of an arrogant urge for self-improvement, to be the best.

Darft Tyranus became a Goblincentrist, despising most if not all of the other races who play Blood Bowl.

Darft Tyranus believes that the sorrow and injustice of being a Goblin can only be responded to with anger and hate.

While often assuming a genteel and civilized manner, Tyranus has no qualms about torturing or ordering the deaths of hundreds of Halflings, nor about committing any number of atrocities as a member of the Dark Side.

Darft Vader is a frightening figure to many.

He has a firm belief that love is a weakness and is utterly meaningless. Vader has an extremely low tolerance of failure, and does not get on well at all with many of the team's leaders.

Despite his rather rocky relationship with coaches, Vader gets along quite well with his team-mates. One reason Vader is popular with the players that served with him is his willingness to fight in the front line, and not expect of anyone anything he was not willing to do himself.
