As white and cruel as an Arctic blizzard, Akiak howls. From his icy throne, he commands his undead thralls to follow him onto the Blood Bowl pitch and harvest souls.

After an insane Blood Bowl apothecary sewed the head of a moose onto the body of a murderer and brought it back to life in a lightning storm, Moosehead was born. Unable to curb his felonious streak, he committed several crimes and had to flee north from a mob of angry villagers intent on burning him alive. It was there in the frozen wastes that he became enslaved to the amaroks.

During Festivus all the little northern children sing this carol:

Snowman the golem, was a very tortured soul,
With a human-bone pipe full of severed toes,
And two eyes as black as coal.

Down to the village, with a spinal cord in his hand,
Running there and here, with his necklace of ears,
Shouting, "A plague upon this land."
