Lore: In life Krotep's roar was feared throughout the jungle. The mighty Kroxigor lead many of Rasetra's armies into battle, his savage cry a warning to those who opposed them that death was coming. As Rasetra descended into ruin the feud between the Khemri and Lizardmen came to a head. Fearing his might the Khemri targeted Krotep in hopes of crippling the lizard army. The mighty Kroxigor was poisoned with blood magic and succumbed to death a few days later, causing widespread rage among the Lizardman inhabitants. Years later after the Lurking God rose from the ruins, Krotep was revived in the Blood River. Along with his flesh and soul, the Kroxigor had lost his mighty roar. The Lurking God had instilled in his corpse the value of surprise. Now Krotep waits silently in the Blood River and surrounding jungle, preying on those who pass by unaware. This patience has brought him success on the Blood Bowl pitch as well, he silently watches his opponents, searching for an opportunity to strike...

History: After an uneventful Winter in Year One Krotep's patience had come to an end. On the first turn of the Spring Game he lined up against the traitor Kroxigor Zlatec and broken his massive jaw with a crushing blow. The hit inspired the Guardians as they beat the Oracles bloody on their way to victory.

Guard
Lore: In life Ximtra stood guard over Rasetra's highest temple. He was renowned not just for his brute strength, but keen instincts for when intruders were nearby. It was rumored he could sense the heartbeat of every living thing throughout the temple, and his eyes could spot a mouse a mile away. The Lurking God recognized these skills and brought Ximtra back as both guardian and hunter. He stands ever watchful over the gods temple, unless given an order then he hunts his prey without mercy until they can be brought back as an offering. On the Blood Bowl pitch his abilities as both hunter and guardian strike fear into enemies who hope he is simply protecting the ballcarrier, and not coming after them!

History: Ximtra earned a reputation early for his savagery, badly hurting the mighty foo statue Peach Blossom Water in his very first match. He continued his cas streak in his second match and finished winter with 2 cas.

Lore: In life Tutencal was Rasetran royalty. The might Saurus earned a reputation not just for his abilities as a warrior, but intuition as a general. He was made captain of Rasetra's army and his uncommon intellect for a Saurus even brought him political accolade. His ability to be both strong and cunning like the crocodile was renowned by both Khemri and Lizardman alike. This was not to last however as civil war brewed Tutencal was scapegoated by Khemri politicians who said he was inept and savage. Tutencal was eventually publicly executed for crimes he did not commit, bringing a hatred and distrust of all living things to him as he died. These feelings of contempt stuck with him as he was resurrected into the Lurking God's service. The God chose Tutencal to be his grand Harvester, seeing much of himself in the mighty Saurus. Tutencal now leads the others in gathering offerings for the God, still coming up with shrewd plans when brute force fails. This cunning on the pitch has made Tutencal an unlikely player not to be underestimated. While most Saurus and their deceased forms would rather ignore the ball in favor of bashing a skull, Tutencal is able to see the field and find openings, daring those weaker than him to challenge his might with the ball in his hand.

History: Tutencal quickly became the focal point of the Guardian's offense. Not only was he able to pick up the ball with surprising ease but made two catches in traffic in the winter season. This led him to score 4 touchdowns in 3 games and earn a Child of Winter trophy for outstanding performance.

His dominance continued into Spring where he scored another touchdown and badly hurt a skink who dared get to close in the first Spring game.

Lore: In life Ramsezuma was outcast from his brethren for his pale color, earning him the nickname Bonescale. Many Lizardmen believed he had this color as a result of Khemri magic and saw him as cursed. Ramsezuma was shamed and afraid of what would be done and exiled himself into the rainforest surrounding Rasetra. Rumors began around the city of a great white beast who snatched men from their homes and ate them whole. A hunting party was gathered and they found that it was Ramsezuma who had been hunting the villagers, believing they had cursed him. He was tortured before execution, vowing retribution on all Khemri who had cursed him and caused such pain. This rage attracted the Lurking God who promised Ramsezuma redemption in return for servitude. On the pitch Ramsezuma's ability to snatch things away led him to not only being a fierce hitter, but ballcarrier as well.

History: Ramsezuma had a quiet winter logging no touchdowns or casualties. He was able to score a touchdown in the first Spring game after the Oracles were beaten into submission.

Lore: Nephalanque earned the nickname Crushjaw through his ability and propensity for biting his foes completely in half. This was used by Rasetran armies as an intimidation tactic, often tossing the first victim to Nephalanque in order to strike fear into the opposing army's heart. This cruelty amused the Lurking God who brought back Nephalanque to once again bring terror to his enemies.

Lore: Chakhamen was one of the original inhabitants of Rasetra, his memory long faded by the time the city descended into ruin. No one but the Lurking God is sure why he was chosen as one of his servants. Chakhamen works in silence, serving the Gods purpose with no explanation or reason. When within the city limits his bones stay immersed in the Blood River, as if given strength by the blood and magic within.

History: Chakhamen has quickly earned himself a reputation as the team's enforcer. He earned both the first casualty by breaking a Celestial Dragon Monk's leg, and the first kill by finishing off Nightmaster Arrdrak. Along with earning an MVP he came out of winter as only the second play on the team with a skill.
