Joining for late in Year 3, shortly after Katherine's retirement, was the 'lady in red'. Josseline de Valois sports long light blonde, almost silver, hair that is notable for the odd yet naturally occurring red ends. When most meet her they wonder if she has come from a battle, her hair covered in blood. The truth is altogether stranger. Josseline is the daughter of a grail knight and some of her father's mystical nature has been passed on. Whether this means she will one day begin to show her fiery haired father's great strength and skill at arms is a question on everyone's lips. Certainly it can be said that Josseline aspires to rise to the lofty ranks of the grail knights, but it is a long road ahead.

Having joined alongside Josseline, Symon d'Orgremont stands in stark contrast to her. Where she is fair he has a face only a mother might love (not that his does). Where she prefers elegant swordsmanship he elects for brutal and unpredictable heavy flail strikes. Where she wears bright red to show her pride Symon walks menacingly onto a pitch wearing much more sombre colours. Even his heraldry is foreboding; a black raven pecking at a carcass with an axe in its back. What this dangerous knight will bring to the team is uncertain, but two things are widely known about him. The first is that he is an old acquaintance of Tristan, possibly even a friend. The second is that he protects Josseline with an icy fury.

Towering over most of his fellows, Tristan is a fierce protector. Although he has never favoured the use of a shield, instead preferring heavier weapons, on the pitch he becomes like a shield to the rest of the team. Solid and reliable, Tristan's family have long served the de Neuf line. While they are knights of little importance that does not mean they lack ability or martial talent. Indeed, Tristan has the most fighting experience on the team and it has proven very useful against the team's opponents thus far. Off the pitch he can be found either leading drills of the peasants or studying the victories, and defeats, of their closest rivals. Above all Tristan takes his duties seriously. He is fortunate to know Marie; she brings some fun and joy into a life that would otherwise be nothing but rigid order.

Update for Spring Year 2: Tristan was recognised with the Old World Values award for his actions in game, many of which were worthy of even a star player. In his acceptance speech he highlighted the virtues of his team and downplayed his own contributions. This humility has gained him much good will from his team captain.

Year 3 Summer
Tristan treated the weekend away as a personal challenge. His focus you ask? Team building and forcing himself to try to have some fun. Thankfully Marie was on hand to encourage him. By the end of the trip he had discovered enjoyment with floating aimlessly around with a lilo. It was a suitably simple pleasure. It was therefore of some amusement to Marie and others that the photo of him with this, catching him naturally as he headed back to the resort for lunch, was given a prominent place in the Old World Bloodbowl Summer Special magazine. Marie has been less pleased at the flood of fan mail and lovey-dovey confessions Tristan has since been regularly receiving. Some of the other knights have begun speculating on the black haired woman's feelings, but Tristan so far appears oblivious.

By the end of the season Tristan has become the temporary captain of the Knightly Virtues team. It has been an underwhelming season with very little to show for any of the team's efforts.

Marie is still a knight errant and the youngest player on the team, though she appears mature for her age. In fact it is often said her looks hide her true nature. From a distance the Lady de l'Esclat looks very much the resplendent and determined knight; a tenacious woman confident in herself. In fact Marie is quite the thrill jockey, ever seeking out danger and excuses to celebrate or feast. While her fellow knights smile at her glory seeking ways the peasants on the team grit their teeth about her, aware that she is both unpredictable and unafraid to order them up against superior opponents in the name of victory. Luckily she is not all about drink and revelry. Her natural talent for the game won her a sponsorship deal with a wealthy, retired Bretonnian star and she uses this money to fund charitable works in the villages around her fortified mansion. Outside of a game or a feast she is pleased whenever she can do something to raise the livelihoods of those beneath her. It is this quality that often keeps the commoners giving their all even against tough opponents they would ordinarily shy away from.

Year 3 Summer
For Marie the beach trip and photo shoot went from fun and relaxing to irksome after the fact. While she was pleased at Puck, Danny and Albert being invited, happy with the modest photos of herself and the time she got to spend with her team, she has been less receptive of one unexpected outcome. She now sighs wistfully as she thinks back to evening meals watching the sunset with Tristan as his attention has turned to politely replying to every single piece of fan mail he receives. Marie was initially delighted to see him receive recognition, but the second time the mail included an extra gift of an admirer's favour she soon soured to it. The rest of the team have taken notice yet are unsure how to proceed. Hopefully the Season's games will give them both the distraction they need to move forward.

Thomassin de Tourraine is another knight sworn to protect the Duchy of Parravon. Young yet hardened from regular skirmishes with greenskins and beastmen, Thomassin was pressured into joining the team by his family. While his equipment is top notch, his family prestige and wealth is not; in fact his small house was almost made destitute outfitting him. He, and they, hope that he can secure glory on the team and in pursuit of a cup. Why? Well, along with glory comes riches and reward.

Year 3 Summer
After winning the divisional title Thomassin has been in high spirits. Wealth now flows into the Virtue's coffers and the players have all enjoyed the perks of their success. Even the peasants! Thomassin, and his family, have been able to return to a more affluent lifestyle too. When his fellow realm knight Nicolete proposed the photo shoot and this led to a luxury trip he was most pleased. Taking full delight in the weekend away Thomassin posed for a few cool photos, showing off the results of his hard training, before hitting the beach, the buffer and the bar. The "three best Bs" as he called them. Thomassin has received less attention for his photos, even when they were leaked, but he doesn't care about that. His thoughts are instead on the upcoming games and securing the Lesser Dragon Grapple cup. Now that... that would really be something.

One thing Nicolete can be said to be is tenacious. She's also adventurous! Trying her hand at anything, challenging anyone and speaking her mind no matter the consequence are unavoidable aspects of her character. It is a character very much like her preferred broadsword in that it is most assuredly double edged. Quite often she has landed in hot water because of her outbursts or headstrong action, yet equally it has earned her recognition and acclaim. Whether the same will be true of the bloodbowl world is an unknown at present. Still, regardless of this Nicolete is an established knight and her future looks bright.

Year 3 Summer
With great satisfaction Nicolete had joined the team in their weekend beach trip and photo shoot. Although her swimsuit was a little similar to Katherine's it was actually perfectly sized. Letting her hair fall free and donning a stylish summer hat she'd dived into the main purpose of the weekend with gusto! Taking up much of the photographer's time it was inevitable that there would be some very flattering pictures of the realm knight. Keen for glory and attention from the fans she gave her approval for one image to be used as a full poster for sale at Virtues games and at their stadium. This image was leaked with others, but fans believe it was a purposeful move as sales for the poster have been impressive. With her cheerful expression, wind swept hair and clear enthusiasm in the image concerned it is perhaps no surprise. Nicolete hopes to build this toward her own fan club by the end of the season.

'New to the team, but not to the sport'. This is how Tobie presents himself. Just how well he knows the game and how to play it remains to be seen. The pressure is on, especially as he steps into the spot once held by Arthur the troll slayer who was killed by vengeful Nipponese in a game they were blessed by Nuffle.

This one is full of mischief. In fact he only behaves properly in front of his lords and ladies. For everyone else he is a nightmare to deal with, constantly belittling his fellow man and acting above his station. However, there is an underlying cunning that often gets Denis out of trouble. How this will materialise in play remains to be seen.

Vivian, nice but dim. He does, however, have an uncannily good grasp of the game having been a fan of bloodbowl since the age of 5. His father, a respected local player who retired to raise his family, taught him everything he knows.

Joining the local militia as soon as she was of age, Sasha is tough for a peasant girl. She hopes this toughness will keep her alive on the pitch after she was invited to the team following an incident with a would be thief. Unfortunately, the exact details of this have been kept private. Rumours suggest Sasha stopped a foreigner running off with one of the knight's helmets during half time of a match at home. Could this be true?

There's something off about Puck. He is unduly pretty for a man and certainly for a peasant. The rest of the peasants on the team can't quite figure it out. What could it be?

Year 3 Summer
Ever sporty and capable, Puck has further impressed the team with his diligence and hard work during the pre-season weekend trip. Although this left him absent for anything more than a quick pose shot in between attending to other errands the young squire apparently enjoyed the trip thanks to the food available. He made sure to bring back some cake to share with the other peasants. It's true that there is still something off about Puck, but it probably doesn't matter; he looks to be well on his way to being accepted as a strong and manly part of the team even by the knights!

Simone was a sergeant in the de Neuf fortress guard until two years ago, when he retired de to old age. He was then asked to lead drills of the militia. For two years he enjoyed barking orders at his fellow commoners. However, even that eventually grew tiresome. With his family all dead and nothing else to live for Simone applied for a spot in the Knightly Virtues mid-season. He was chosen over younger candidates due to his experience and, frankly, his nonchalance toward life.

Mic is just a peasant. A peasant with a lowly wish to win some gold for his family.

Micky is an angry middle-aged man with a perplexingly youthful and attractive face. He was noticed by fans in his first game and is quickly developing a following.
