Having felt displaced by the Borgholm Braves dismissing him without paying out his full contract (since they found someone better for them, which brought out Brian's deep seated inadequacy issues from his last 17 failed relationships) he was hired on by the Great White Northerners to give him a chance to redeem himself on the pitch. While every Ogre with Block laughs at Brian, he protects his fragile ego by wearing a luchador (Brettonian Wrestler) costume during every match. He's becoming very good friends with Johnny Ochoa, who took him shopping to find extra costumes for just "around the house" and "about town," which led to his first ever autograph signing; thus, Brian fiercely protects both his newest friend and fan more than anything or anyone else.

Waldred was the only daughter in a family of 14, leaving far too many brothers mercilessly picking on her since her earliest memories. One day in the market, suffering the antics of her two younger brothers, a stoic guardswoman with one arm took her under her only remaining wing and taught the girl some scrapping techniques. Later that week she bested her oldest brother with a sneaky blow to his abdomen giving all the boys pause. She volunteered for every shopping trip, willing to carry all the heavy loads home, just to meet with her benefactor and learn one more way to hurt her former oppressors. Finding her far too unmanageable her father encouraged her to seek fortune in the guards... but the regulations were too stringent and she was ejected from the town guard for fighting... with too many guards... thus she ended up where blood is encouraged... and the more... the better...

S04MD3 Update: After a game with the Falling Water Falcons, a joyous man in tan robes offered Waldred some of the essence of her fallen foes. He explained to her that it is customary in honouring the dead to steal their skills to improve one's own capabilities. While unsure, the rest of her teammates egged her on at the idea, which resulted in her stealing some of the agility meant for the Falcons...

Fatalist is a word often used to describe John Boyett, but it lacks the punch to properly explain his attitude. John's always had a macabre view of the game of Bloodbowl, believing in nearly serial killer fashion that only the strong and quick are worthy of living. He feels there has been too little blood in the DLA and has joined up with the intention of being the remedy to that ailment.

As the star of "Fame" (the HBOwww drama series about the sport of Bloodbowl), Johnny Ochoa is a household name nearly as spoken as Griff Oberwald. Over the course of 6 seasons, Johnny Ochoa has completed 324 passes (not a single one incomplete or intercepted), signed thousands of autographs (more than any Bloodbowl player, living, dead, or undead), and had a dozen onscreen romances with cheerleaders who would make any player's toes curl with delight.

The day HBOwww execs came onto set cancelling Fame midseason due to budget cuts, Ochoa lost it and threw the prop balls like buckshot pelting the back of their heads as they fled from set. The bruises they suffered from the impacts changed their minds to finish out the season, but this time, instead of cut shots, Ochoa was throwing real passes, filmed in realtime (though they had to hire stunt catchers to do the real work). The collective belief created through the previous 5 seasons had magically endowed Johnny Ochoa with the abilities the show had portrayed him to have.

With the show cancelled, Ochoa sought to stay in the limelight he had grown accustomed to, and the GWN was willing to snap him up very quickly to let him dazzle the crowds for seasons to come!

Tim Brown's story is an all too familiar adolescent boy's tale... during his daily chores he was bitten by a rabid penguin when he was out to milk them. His family unable to afford the atrocious prices of good quality snake oil to cure his ills, they accepted a poor quality substitute open which the label would read: Includes traces of ice water, goblin blubber, hair of hairless walrus, electrum shavings, hummingbird sperm, and argyle. After repeated doses of the product, Tim began to experience violent tremors in his extremities (assured by the salesman were perfectly normal for children the boy's age even without the alleged medicine). After months of fitful sleep due to the waggling of his toes and ankles, our soon to be star player learned that tying his legs securely down to the bed would allow him a reasonable night's sleep. Upon his "recovery" Tim discovered that when attempting to walk, he would consistently walk into an object instead of to it. Eventually he learned to control the speed at which he walked, during which he felt like others were simply standing still. When interviewed he explained his greatest fear is what might happen if he tries running...
