To add a new page to Wiki, all you have to do is come up with a meaningful title, capitalize all the words and StringThemTogetherLikeThis?. Wiki automagically recognizes it as a hyperlink. Alternatively, you can put anything into square brackets.
Then you can go ahead and ClickTheQuestionMark at the end of your new hyperlink, and the Wiki will give you a window for making the new page.
If you wish to add documents with complex markup to the Wiki, you might be better off providing a URL to it than trying to add the text of the document here, like so:
PhpWiki project homepage: http://phpwiki.sourceforge.net/
The Wiki does not support HTML tags (see TextFormattingRules). <tags>They will just render like text.</tags> Wiki is meant to be as simple as possible to encourage use.
Note that there is a feature that your system administrator can enable to allow embedded HTML, but there are security risks involved.
[1]A quick example.
Let's say we would want to add a guide on using mIRC, this would belong under the section about the chat channel so first we go there. At the moment we can only see a link called BowlBot.
At this point you click on edit, you'll get an editing area containing everything you just saw (in this case only an asterix for the bullet and BowlBot in between brackets for the link).
Now you're going to add the title of the new section, you can either use the capitalized way or use the brackets. When you have done that, press save.
The page will now contain a link to your new section and the older link to the BowlBot section. Click on the question mark behind your link, this will bring you to the edit page of your section. Type your info there and click on save.
There you go, you just made fumbbl a better place for everyone to enjoy!
