Blitz Magazine's second interview is with the one and only PeteW!!

<Nyberg> Hey PeteW, one of two coaches on Fumbbl that've won 2 majors, Fumbbl Cup V and Ulthuan Invitational II :)
<Nyberg> Which Major Victory do you appreciate most? And why?

<PeteW> To answer your question, although the UI was first, the FC was bigger and is the one that people remember.

<Nyberg> As we all now, you won Fumbbl Cup V with your woodelf team Ultimate Superheroes, do you have any tips for other elfcoaches that want success?

<PeteW> hehehe, apart from cherrypicking like mad to prep your team.... you don't need to either score quickly, or jump in to try to steal the ball every turn. To win and elf games AND to keep your team you need to be patient and not panic, certainly against bashers, stalling for a half before scoring is the way to go. Best replay you can watch of this is pac's LC semi vs Jack_Daniels.

<Nyberg> Now, you are heading into Fumbbl Cup VI with another woodelfteam, Ultimate Superheroes! (man, awesome variation!), what's your expectation?

<PeteW> hehehe - inventiveness is not my strong point! I expect to get quite a few games through, looking at my draw, but whethetr the casualty dice are nice to me or not will determine my overall form. In the FC V, most of my cas were BH (until the final!) and that is one reason why I won. So I hope for more BH!!!

<Nyberg> After Fumbbl Cup V you retired your team, Ultimate Superheroes, beacuse you realized family was more important. Now, what's your view on Blood Bowl?

<PeteW> I was addicted to Blood Bowl to the detriment of my family and my faith, so I quit for 5 weeks. Now I play for fun against my friends, which is probably why my CR dropped! But even though I would like to win, I would not play a game if my wife or daughter needed me.

<Nyberg> Grats PeteW, you recently got a daughter named Hannah, how does it feel?

<PeteW> Amazing! She is gorgeous and funny and has totally changed my life. I can tell she will have me wrapped round her little finger.

<Nyberg> Now, when you are father and all, how does it change your relation to Fumbbl and Blood Bowl?

<PeteW> I have to spend less time here of course, but I will still be an active member of the community.

<Nyberg> I've played some really good game vs you, and I've won 1 too.. And I have to admit that you are as good people say that you are.
How can you be so good, or is it only luck?

<PeteW> hahaha! Yeah, I am a big fat nooblucker, just like everyone says ;) Well.. to be serious, you need luck to win, but what separates a good coach from an adequate coach is whether you position your players correctly to minimise damage of bad luck and to maximise effect of opponents bad luck.

<Nyberg> Speaking of luck, how will it go in Fumbbl Cup VI?

<PeteW> I hope to have fun and have some nice dirty games with funny opponents. If I get that, then I consider myself to have won ;)

<Nyberg> And i really have to ask you this, In Synn's interview with Jack_Daniels, Jack_Daniels said: "I know some people don’t like CR but now I am over 200 I want to set a new CR record. So I am waiting for the FC right now." What do you think of that? :D

<PeteW> well, he will have to beat 202.24 to beat my record, but the CRs will all be skewed until Christer adjusts the K-value down from 46 to 9 or so. But he should overtake me without too much trouble, and I have neither to drive nor opportunity to take it back now.

<Nyberg> Befroe we end this interview we will do the Fast Five game. I'll ask you five questions and you says the first thing that pops up. Ready?
<PeteW> okay!
