The following is a report of the second round Fumbbl Cup match between Putrid Posse and Naggaroth Dark Stars. It is written from the perspective of Putrid Posse, the official match report can be found here.

The ref called the players on to the field and tossed the coin, Naggaroth Dark Stars guessed right and chose to receive. However just as they kicked the ball the Putrid Posse charged forward catching their opposition of guard. Thing went from bad to worse as Krak rushed forward and punched Aslad Stonefall so hard that he broke the Dark Elf's neck, the best efforts of the teams apothecary could not save the Dark Elves brightest star. Recovering quickly from the shock the Naggaroth Dark Stars scooped up the ball and formed a defensive cage. Nurgle players quickly surrounded the Dark Elves but they broke free and, enraged by the loss of Aslad Stonefall, Eroba Cavedevil did the unthinkable by badly hurting Fairybane Wingeater with a brutal blitz. Beastmen sprinted after the elves trying to box them in to the sideline. With a quick block and hand off the Dark Elves managed to break free and only an unlucky trip prevented Juko Snakebite from scoring. Morg 'N' Throg, seizing the oppatunity to show what a great player he is, grabbed the ball and ran the whole way to the Naggaroth Dark Stars end zone giving the Putrid Posse a one touchdown lead.

The second half began with the Dark Elves kicking. Blent picked up the ball and ran forward. When he got close enough Morg 'N' Throg demanded to be given the ball, deciding not to argue with the huge Ogre Blent handed it to him. The Putrid Posse drove forward beating off the Naggaroth Dark Stars as they tried to slow and break the defensive cage. The Dark Elves managed to get some players in front of Mord 'N' Throg who, deciding he had already shown how good he is, handed the ball to Zerd who eagerly ran forward and scored his teams second touchdown.

As the Nurgle team was kicking the ball they surged forward catching the Naggaroth Dark Stars off guard for a second time. Blent and Glob ran to where they thought the ball would land eager to get the glory of another touchdown. Ink Darkbreeze, showing his cool under preasure, ran forward snatching up the ball and executed perfect long pass to Juko Snakebite who had slipped past the Putrid Posse's defence to get into position for a quick touchdown. Nak Nightly ran forward to assist and siriously injured Norat who was the only player that could have stopped Dark Elves from scoring. Seconds later Juko Snakebite reached the end zone and scored a well deserved touchdown for his team.

In an interview after the match Falesh say he was thrilled to have come this far in his first ever tournament and that he was looking forward to facing either Pizoteadorez or Dead Bunnies United. He was also keen to complement the Naggaroth Dark Stars coach who had stayed positive even though Nuffle, the lord of luck, had been smiling on the Putrid Posse.
