High Elf team lineups

LRB4 Starting Rosters

Variation 1

  • 11 Linemen
  • 3 RR's
  • 8 FF

Basic principle: buy RR's at the startup of a team. since they are twice the price after your first game

Variation 2

  • 1 Dragon Warrior
  • 10 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 9 FF
  • 10k in Treasury

at the expense of RR's more Fanfactor, speed, and blocking power in the team.

Variation 3

  • 2 Dragon Warriors
  • 9 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 7 FF

at the expense of RR's and Fanfactor more speed and blocking power in the team.

Variation 4

  • 1 Dragon Warrior
  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 9 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 9 FF

As Phoenix Warriors, the High Elf thowers, are only 10k more expensive than a lineman for the gain of the very useful Pass skill and future access to passing skills, getting one at the start is not a bad idea.

Variation 5

  • 2 Dragon Warriors
  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 8 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 6 FF

As Phoenix Warriors, the High Elf thowers, are only 10k more expensive than a lineman for the gain of the very useful Pass skill and future access to passing skills, getting one at the start is not a bad idea.

Variation 6

  • 1 Dragon Warrior
  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 1 Lion Warrior
  • 8 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 7 FF

These setups give you all the position players needed for a very competant passing game right from the start.

Variation 7

  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 2 Lion Warriors
  • 8 lineman
  • 2 RR's
  • 8 FF

These setups give you all the position players needed for a very competant passing game right from the start.

Variation 7

  • 10 Linemen
  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 3 RR's
  • 7 FF

Taking advantage of the cheap throwers (80k compared to 70k for linemen) gives you a much better passing game to start with and quickly allows you to develop a surehands or accurate thrower.

Variation 7

  • 2 Dragon Warriors
  • 1 Lion Warrior
  • 1 Phoenix Warrior
  • 7 Linemen
  • 1 RR
  • 9 FF

Blocking power and Pass, Catch combo should make up for the fact you have only the 1 RR, early elf teams need cash for an apothecary and replacements as quickly as possible, the higher the FF the better

(If you care about your players or you fear a casualty in your 1st game(s) trade in a RR for the apoth for all setups above - note that with an Armour Value of 8 for all HE players except Lion Warriors, the risk of a permanent injury or death in your first game isn't too severe)

Variation 8

  • 4 Lion Warriors
  • 7 Lineman
  • 1 RR's
  • 9 FF
  • 10k in Treasury

at the expense of RR's more speed in the team.
