Reporting Results

NOTE: You only need to follow these instructions if the automatic upload at the end of the match fails for any reason. The auto-upload was added in JBB v7.7

  • Click on the Report Match link on the website.
  • You'll get a form. Click on the "Browse" button.
  • In the file browser that pops up, find the result file for your match.
    • You'll want to find the .zip file for your match
    • The .zip file you want will be named AaaavsBbbb.zip, where Aaaa = The first four letters of your team name and Bbbb = the first four letters of your opponent's team name.
    • It's handy to sort by date, since your latest match should then be on top.
  • Once you've found the right file, click on "Upload".
  • You'll get taken to the Match Report. If your opponent has already uploaded, it will say "Thank you. The match has been registered." Otherwise, it will tell you that it is waiting for your opponent to upload his/her results for verification.
    • Either way, you're all set now.

It's important to note that you're responsible for reporting your match at your earliest possible convenience - generally as soon as you finish the game. If your house is on fire, that's an acceptable excuse but otherwise...

While one team (either you or your opponent) is waiting for the other result to be uploaded, neither team is available for playing. This means that if you take extra time, you're keeping someone from playing with their teams. It's basically a rude thing to do. Upload when you finish. It only takes a moment and everyone is happy.

Refusing to upload because you didn't like the outcome of the match is a violation of the FUMBBL rules (which you had to agree to before playing, for the record). Show some backbone and take your lumps with dignity, if need be.

Congratulations. You should now know everything you need to get started.
