Ulthuan Invitational III Dark Qualifiers - Round 1 Race Statistics

With the Ulthuan Invitational in full swing, many are wondering what races are fully committed to glory everlasting on the Blood Bowl pitch. Having already received the skinny on the Light Qualifiers, it's time to delve deeper into the Dark Qualifiers. We caught up with the head of security operations, Lord Gonna Getkilled. He arrived flanked by two Black Orcs and an Ogre graciously donated by a coalition of Orc participants in the tournament. Lord Getkilled was a nervous, jumpy man. The TNT reporter endured a four minute frisking by the Ogre security guard (though really, there was three minutes of wondering what was going on followed by 45 seconds of confusion) before getting to the questions.

TNT: Lord, thank you for this interview. I was just going to ask... Why are you under that table?

Lord Gonna: Nothing! No reason!

TNT: Moving on then. The recent allegations of bribery and corruption in the acceptance process have caused quite a stir. There have even been reports of a High Elven scribe being chopped up by what the sages have determined to be a chainsaw strapped to a pogo stick. Do you believe that there is a chance that unsavory elements are trying to influence next years decisions?

Lord Getkilled: NO! The elven scribe you spoke of cut himself with a chainsaw strapped to a pogo stick while shaving. And I can certainly say that no one has tried to throw bombs into my home and office. The bombs were my own, and went off in a series of unfortunate events.

TNT: ... Any comment on this years racial makeup of the first round Dark Qualifiers?

Lord GG: Comment? Yes! IT WAS ALL A HORRIBLE MISTAKE! I can safely say that if no one smashes my home to pieces with a ball and chain that many, many more goblin teams will be present next year. So many more! PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!

TNT: Well, there you have it folks. High Elves are quite afraid of dying, and that's probably why they keep all the orcs and dwarves in a separate qualifier. Take a look at the figures below and see if you can guess who sent the biggest wad of cash in their applications!

Race Breakdown

128 of the most skilled teams have been accepted into the Ulthuan Invitational, but only 64 of the meatiest, manliest, murder-intending teams are on the rolls of the eight Dark Qualifier knockout tournaments. Lets take a look at which races will be dishing out the hurt.

The eligible races are: Chaos, Chaos Dwarf, Dwarf, Goblin, Khemri, Necromantic, Orc, Rotters, Skaven, Undead, Vampire and Ogre.

The 64 Dark entrants are made up of 14 Orc, 13 Chaos, 11 Dwarf, 10 Chaos Dwarf, 6 Skaven, 4 Ogre, 3 Undead, 2 Khemri, 1 Vampire, 0 Necromantic and 0 Goblin team(s).
