Ulthuan Invitational III Light Qualifiers - Round 1 Race Statistics

image

As the mayhem of the Ulthuan Invitational has already erupted onto the pitches of the premier arenas in the Known World, TNT sat down with Prince Looksdown Hisnose, the head statistical scribe of the UI Light Qualifiers, to discuss "The Big Picture" regarding the races involved.

TNT: So Prince Hisnose, what can you tell us about the numbers in the opening round of the Light Qualifiers of this UI?

Prince Hisnose: Well, if you must know, we managed to effectively discourage some of the... ah... less worthy races from participating, with which we were quite pleased. There are mercifully no insufferable Lizardmen on the rolls. I believe we also received a number of entries written on various confections with coloured icing. Those, ah... Went missing in a filing accident just after lunch. So none of the roly-poly fatheads either.

TNT: TNT would like to point out that the views and opinions expressed by Prince Looksdown Hisnose are not those of the publication, and are his alone.

Prince Hisnose: sighs loudly How boring.

TNT: Well, right uhm... How about the uh, more... worthy races?

Prince Hisnose: Not as many High Elves were entered as we would have liked. We assume this is because of some underhanded plot by our dark-hearted cousins over in Naggaroth. I believe there are some unsolved murders that we could no doubt say were messengers prevented from reaching their targets, but what's the use.

TNT: Uh... This... I don't want to start any wars here...

Prince Hisnose: Perhaps next year I'll convince the high council that the Dark Elves deserve to be in the Dark Qualifiers. That should raise their casualty rate and keep them out of the finals. Nothing interests me more than seeing the broken bodies of their dreadful witch elves. And don't even get me started about those provincial woodies wandering about mostly unclothed. Time to drum up some phantom charges against their stars, and... Hey, are you recording this?? transcript ends abruptly

And so, we present a brief analysis of the bigger picture. What do the numbers say about the state of each race? Let's take a closer look.

Race Breakdown

As many may already know, 128 of the premier teams have been entered into the Ulthuan Invitational. The races deemed 'light in spirit and intention' by High Elven priests have been arranged into eight qualifying tournaments of eight apiece, making 64 total teams for round 1 of the Light Qualifiers. The other 64 entries are of course allocated to teams 'with a meanness of spirit and general lack of couth' and are not detailed below.

The eligible races are: Amazon, Dark Elf, Elf, Halfling, High Elf, Human, Lizardman, Norse and Wood Elf

The 64 Light entrants are made up of 23 Dark Elf, 14 Wood Elf, 10 High Elf, 10 Human, 3 Amazon, 3 Elf, 1 Norse, 0 Lizardmen and 0 Halfling team(s).
