Tournament Scoring
When you start a tournament, you get two new links below the description text: Delete, which is self-explanatory, and Configure. The latter of these allows you to set up scoring rules for that tournament.
The function of each of these boxes is:
-
Game/Win: points gained by winning a normal game
-
Game/Draw: points gained by drawing a normal game
-
Game/Loss: points gained by losing a normal game
-
Forfeit/Win: points gained when a forfeit is forced by the group owner against your opponent
-
Forfeit/Loss: points gained when a forfeit is forced by the group owner against you (NB: this value is calculated as a normal positive... if you want to subtract points for forfeits, you HAVE TO put a negative number here)
-
TD/Min: minimum amount of points given (or taken away) for touchdowns
-
TD/For: points given for each touchdown scored
-
TD/Agst: points subtracted for each touchdown conceded (NB: this value is automatically calculated as a negative... DO NOT put a negative number here UNLESS you want the defending team to gain points from an opponent's TD)
-
TD/Max: maximum amount of points given (or taken away) for touchdowns
-
Cas/Min: minimum amount of points given (or taken away) for casualties
-
Cas/For: points given for each caused casualty recorded in the match report
-
Cas/Agst: points subtracted for each each suffered casualty recorded in the match report (NB: this value is automatically calculated as a negative... DO NOT put a negative number here UNLESS you want the casualty taker to gain points from a casualty)
-
Cas/Max: maximum amount of points given (or taken away) for casualties
-
Minimum: the lowest amount of points scored for the entire game (NB: this value is calculated as a normal positive... if you want to allow teams to score a negative amount of total points for a game - most usually when they forfeit - you HAVE TO put a negative number here, usually the same as the Forfeit/Loss box).
