Oh well looks like the league will never expand, very unlikely we can get 48 coaches without opening it up to the entirety of FUMBBL(this being based on getting coaches from DIBBL, SWL and WIL atm).
The way we were going to set it up with extra divs was that no div would double up with races, so no chance of having a div with 2 wood elf or skaven.
Also during the drafting process once a race is taken from one of the minor groups, for example elves(woodies, HE, DE and pro elf) no other races from this group may be drafted until 1 race from each group is drafted.
Division sizes would stay the same, 6 teams per division and group balanced, 6 groups of 4 races, so 1 race from each group in a division.
But once we have final numbers confirmed for who is returning, wanting to play etc. we won't have a clear picture on what is happening.

Ok quick recap of who's in for next season.

Returning: Toonie, VL, Lemf, Semitence, Tribalsinner, Cdwat, m0gw41, Ramchop, Bigbullies, Relezite, Longshanks, Dunenzed, Alcrab, Polemarch, Dlock, mushoomy, Dustbunny, Jevouse, Tomay and Karnov.
That's 20 coaches so far.

Leaving: D_Arquebus, Paradocks, Balle2000, Chavo

Wanting to join: Luohghcra, Tussock, Grumpsh and PJJ.

Luohghcra, Pjj, Grumpsh and Tussock are added to the league and their teams will be drafted later.

I get the whole 24 teams is neat and there shouldnt be doubles ups of races thing but i also see no reason to exclude keen coaches from what is a great and different way to play our favoured game
I think toonies idea of no doubles in a conference aswell as still drawing said new coaches a random race is a logical way to expand the league
Besides the more who join the more the word gets out and eventually we do end up with 48 coaches Smile

I wouldn't want the possibility of the finals being 2 of race X in a league that's meant to be 'one of'. Also, how do you manage the racial strengths? Multi-tier 1, or multi-ogres? Also a number of other things, but I have to go to dinner now.

If people are keen, there are always drop outs. Maintaining a higher level to entry also means people are less likely to leave/drop out & there is always fillers ready.

However, I do like the current setup. I still think rather than make wannabe entrants queue up at the gate, run entrance qualifiers so they all have a shot.
e.g. Pjj plays Luo or tussosk in a Vamp v Vamp, or UW v UW match up
