I would love a distinction on "Old" teams here on fumbbl.
Maybe that could inspire admins to evolve tourneys even further and players to stick to interesting teams. Which I like personally.
Something similar to the skill-system maybe?
0-5 games: Rookie Team
6-15: Experienced Team
16-30: Veteran Team
31-50: Emerging Star Team
51-75: Almost old Team (crap name)
76-175: Old Team
176 and above: Legendary Old Team (-ish... obviously would be great to have names for 500+, 1000+ games and so on)
That means I would recommend this quali to have 76 games played to be able to enter. ;-D |

I'm guessing for tournament applications though, it has more to do with trying to keep the qualifiers a certain size? If applications are restricted to teams with 76 or 100 games or 300 games or whatever, then maybe they are really small qualifiers? Or at least some additional thought would probably have to be put into the overall qualifier balance. Still, I like your idea a lot. |

Qualifier 1 is really putting the fast in fastest to apply, as a 5th game is already going on after less than one day a new round had started. Keep up the good work boys |

Another 1-1 draw! Our differing but equally... erm awesome rosters cancelled each other out
Joki "The Sophisticated" Coldfist, killed by the Cranberries becomes the one and only raised zombie that we have retained. He'll be our trophy until he dies on LOS duty!
On a side not, we've miraculously not disgraced ourselves in the tournament with a 0/2/1 record, and only conceded 1 TD a game. Just need a new ma6 stat freak for a ball carrier |
