What about doing something like elf houses, but you can play any of the 4 elf teams, and woodies can't take treemen? and everyone would only get 7 positionals (dark elves could be given assassins to replace any positional, because come on, that's just totally mafia stylesque)
That way there would be some variety in the teams, while still being roughly even playing fields. |

Personally I don't see the problem if everyone is the same race. But when/if I do the Elf Houses it will probably be with the 4 races but teams would need to start with 14/15 Linemen as you would not be able to afford Positionals as the Elves are just too expensive. Maybe in the Future if they bring in the option for League admins to allow Teams to start off with more money they could start with them. |

I've been thinking about the rules a bit more and have decided to change some stuff.
Just realised I never mentioned this is the original post. 'Each Team represents a City and is controlled by the Family in it. Each player for that Team is a representative of Rival Families fighting for a piece of the action.'
The rule about the 1st Family to get a player to 'The Godfather' status although good  , seems out of reach. It's hard enough getting a player to legend status when you're controlling him let alone when he's being controlled by someone else. So now the 1st Family to reach 400 Respect and own all 8 Rerolls and keep it above 400 until Seasons close Wins. This way it gives you more of an incentive to win. |

oh; how will games be played? totally free league (I assume not) or simply scheduled matches so that you play each other team a specific number of times in order to keep everyone at the same number of games? |

I'm thinking that the team name should be the Family name. eg. Licata Family
Player names will be chosen by their respective families. So Players on your team will have the Surname of each of the opposing Families the 1st name will be chosen by that Families Coach. So you will have a player named ??? Roccella, ??? Borgo Molara (1st name chosen by Kalminael), ??? Altarello etc.... |

House of XXXXX maybe?
