it would be cool to see one but at the same time i think in the long run it might have an adverse effect.
if people are aware of the need for donations but unsure how much has already been donated then imo they would be more inclined to donate. on the other hand if we had a graph/thermometer device and it reached its full/yearly target early, say after 6-7 months, then people may feel less inclined to donate.
now i know that if the donations reached the target early and the donations slowed down its not a problem. but at the same time imo it would be good if there were more donations than actually needed just so there is a little extra incase of a major component failure on the servers etc.
just my opinion  |
