Season 5 Finals at the doorstep.


The Dwarfs of the Microdorf Clan won a second regional this season, their only loss coming to the eventual runner-up High Elves out of Nidhoggstad. However, the Dwarfs did suffer a major blow when the Khorne worshipping Humans killed 2 dwarfs in 2 consecutive blocks (!). Meaning the apothecary was freshly out of healing runes, as their ma7 ag4 emerging star runner was stretchered of dead.

Despite being still mere hatchlings, the Skeggi Yellow Eyes won their 1st regional title with an impressive 5/0/0 record. It came at a cost though, with the Fighting Cooks putting a permanent dent in one saurus, and the Draugr forcing another to join them. They will play the Vikings of Naglfari in the eastern semi-final.

The Frozen Sea was the tightest of the regionals this year. Four teams could still take first place with 1 game remaining, and it still wasn't decided with only 1 half left of the season. The Valkyries went ahead beating the Trixters. The Oilers then ruined the Winterfrogs' chances of winning through a T16 equalizer. But it wasn't before the Crazies lost the ball twice on their 2nd half offensive drive that the Naglfari Vikings could decide it all and secure back to back titles in the Frozen Sea regional.

The last spot in the finals will be with filled by either the Morkfjord Mermaids or the Kärsämäki Critters, with the former being slight favourites. The Orcs need to beat the Philosophers in their final game to do so. The game is set to be delayed however, as the Ogres are rumoured to be off on a sort of nautical construction site out in the Sea of Claws, apparently harvesting oil (Sjoktraken chieftain Goldur Goldmundsson has been notified).
