Hello
I don't believe the client handles the combo of DP & SG properly
Observe this example:
SG-DP player decides to foul an AV8 prone player
He rolls a 4+4
He should be able to choose weather he applies the Dirty Player to the armour roll
If he does not, he will not get sent off
At the moment he automatically does, therefore gets an unmodified injury roll but will definitely be sent off |

I would have thought the player is always trying to be dirty when fouling so it should not be optional. It's not like the player is kicking, knows if he has almost hurt the victim and then starts being dirty. Is it? I think the foul represents a swift kick and the dirty part is where he places it. Too late to change after kicking the leg. Just like Sneaky Git is not optional. |

My guess is that he's linked to old icons. Either the older NK icons or the non tile icons. Neither of which work with the new client. That's probably why you're getting an 'S'. |

I don't think that's true. part of the rule book says "if you choose to add it AV you cannot add to injury". Pretty strongly saying that it is a choice |

I read that more as a poorly written line in the rulebook. It doesn't make sense.
But you are correct that the line is there. Just doesn't make sense. |

All skills are optional, other than the ones that aren't. But fumbbl generally doesn't give us choices that are only useful to make in weird corner cases. Like when you roll a 44 unassisted foul vs AV 8 with Sneaky Git and Dirty Player. |

And this is another reason why all skills should not be optional unless specifically stated (imo). So many unnecessarily confusing situations would be cleared up and the game streamlined. |
