Hi there folks and welcome to this weeks North Conference News File,I'm your host Lars Nielson.

We have a very mixed bag for you this week with only 2 out of the 4 scheduled games going the distance.

First off we have the Flitter Mice who were matched up against the Brisbane Boncos. This was all in the wood elves favor with the Mice running in 4 tds to a measly 1 by those lovable norse the Boncos. It seems the Boncos couldn't contain the fleet footed elves who had their way with their opposition. There were no outstanding players on either team, with 4 of the Mice players getting in on the scoring act. This result is very promising for mice coach Beefygoodness as his charges come up against another norse lineup next week the Angry Asgardians. It looks like there will be extra training for the Boncos as coach Miyuso tries to whip them into shape.

Next on the agenda is the match between them dwarf killing norse the Angry Asgardians and a bruised and battered Adelaide Anvils. This was a close affair folks with the final result being a 1 all draw. The dwarves of the Anvils got on the board first with a very slow drive which nearly took up the all of the first half as the Asgardians kept pounding back the dwarven efforts. The second half was nearly a repeat of the first with the Asgardians continually pounding the dwarves on their way to the line. But the Anvils showed a lot of heart by slowing down the Asgardians and at one point nearly got control of the ball. The norse scored but left enough time in the match for the Anvils to score.A valiant effort on the buzzer by dwarves didn't pay off though with the ballcarrier tripping before the line and the final whistle being blown.Bofur was a standout for the Anvils scoring a td and being awarded mvp for the match,on the Asgardians side minotaur Frozen Tauros was outstanding causing 2 of his teams 3 casualties.

Our next game was a farce the Wickerman had come to play with G.O.D. fans in the crowd paying their hard earned cash to see some dwarf bashing mayhem. The dastardly dorfs took to the field looking as poor and haggard as a bunch of geriatric dwarves can.Overexcited with the thought of dwarf parts flying all over the place, the fans stormed onto the pitch holding the game up.When it finally did get started, Airell Cardell struck the first blow seriously injuring one of the dorfs. Then doing what they are well known for,the khemri fouled a downed dwarf, smashing him bad.Outraged at this blatant breaking of the rules the dwarves walked off the field, conceding the match.Coach Elan held a press conference later on announcing the retirement of the Dorfs.G.O.D. fans around the Southern Wastes rejoiced and I for one am not sorry to see them go.Old dwarves belong in the retirement village and not on the blood bowl pitch!

Now for a special report our last match of the round will be covered by former Good Old Days Returned star Mick Malthouse.
Over to you Mick.

Thanks Lars.

The Long Awaited yet much Overhyped game Between the Good Olds and the Horny Toads. It seems that we have an incident on our hands. After the Toads got the ball near thier end zone, they decided they'd had enough and walked off. As yet the reason is unknown, but rumour has it they have finally found thier mojo again. Long Missing, this may mean that other teams will be in strife in future rounds.

The Good Old's didn't mind however, any win is taken in our camp, and i may actually fit under the salary cap again. And let me tell you Blood Bowl Fans, It'll be worth it.

Round 3 Western Conference, is this MAKE or BREAK week?
Hi, if you have just joined us I'm Bob Borc. We continue our wrap of games for this week in the conferences with a look now at Western.

With several eagerly awaited matchups this weeks round of games should see this otherwise tight conference begin to shake up and the leaders pull away from the pack.

Beasts of Bowl vs Jacks Boozers is the only game played so far and this was a doozy, hard fought win by the Beasts and their masters against a tough and determined but perhaps a bit worse the wear for drink Boozers. Both sides kept swinging throughout the whole game but the bigger roster and depth of talent of the Beasts showed through taking the match 2-1. Such gritty play bodes well for great games for each of these teams from next round.

Wanna Beatin v's Soft n Fluffy sees a critical game for both these teams in an all orc derby, and a great game for the Orcish fans who can cheer and fight for everybody, a win for the Beatin is vital if they are to stay in touch with the conference leaders and for the Fluff's a win would see them go clear on the table with a lead that will be very difficult to unseat them from as this plucky team of underdogs goes from strength to strength..

Forza Ferrari v's Peno Pancakes sees a must win for the Ferrari's, another loss will no doubt see them as also runs in this season and they will likely be left marking time until next season and be struggling to avoid a return to the swamps. They however face a Pancake side that last week, despite winning was very much pancaked and will have some holes in its line up that it will struggle to fill after being badly handled by the Archfiends.

Brothers In Bloodbowl v's Archfiends of Atrocity has got to be the game of the round in West Conference. This promises to be a titanic struggle and sees two of the most fancied sides in the conference having at each other. In what promises to be a right cracker of a game both these very physical teams will be looking fo a win here, both being on equal points in the table after two rounds. Mark this one in your guides for your viewing pleasure big game fans. Both of these teams have it in them for the right stuff to make premier next season and this game may very well be the one that seals one team or the others fate.

Its still a long season ahead of us but this reporter can't help feel that this round could very well show us who are the real contenders of this conference.

This is Bob Borc reporting live for Channel BB! Stay tuned folks, Don't miss a second of Season VII. We will be right back after this break for some local announcements from our affiliates..

SWL Player Profile

The SWL has been running now for seven seasons, and there are only a few players remaining from that inaugural season many moons ago. Today, we here at Channel BB take a look at one of those stars.

For many people, well at least those who took up their Channel BB subscription in time for the inaugural SWL kickoff, the SWL stars have been such classic names like Vladim Oslobahn and Duke Snakefield. These guys have been the guys hogging all the media and consequently Oslobahn and Snakefield merchandising has gone through the roof.

Today though we honour one of the more media shy players. An honest toiler and gentlemen of the game, the Blue Mountain Dragons' Blax Landric has played in 43 of the 44 games that the Dragons have ever played and has amassed an incredible 107 Twahnlow Points in that time.

For the record, Blax is currently:

For Norse Catchers
* 3rd highest of All Time in SPP's
* 5th highest TD scorer of All Time
* 2nd highest Blocker of All Time

For All Norse Records
* 10th highest SPP Earner of All Time
* 6th highest TD scorer of All Time

As of today, Blax is closing in on the milestone of 125 Twahnlow Points to become the SWL's first "Legend". With 4 games to go, in the South Conference, Blax will need to be fit and healthy to a) make the milestone and b) perhaps force the Dragons back into the Premier League.

Today, the SWL salutes one of it's great champions!

Hi folks Imagannabegot here at the Crafters Stadium, Home to Bothers In bloodbowl.

The final whistle has blown, players have been woken up, and have been laid to rest, and digits claimed. Seeing the home side take away a thrilling 2-1 victory vs Beasts of Bowl, it was a brutal encounter for both sides and i could tell from the bad language i was hearing from the nosebleed seats it was a savage down there...

Before the start of the game there were Virus concerns for the visitors, which were laid to rest when the whole team showed up ready to play, thou injury concerns worsened for the home side when Bulthour Stonecrafter was declared unfit for play, failing a fitness test, and Artser Stonecrafter was missing this game due to a bad Khemri he ate...

The opening play saw the Visitors make a quick shuffle, and supurb kick placement, putting them right in contention for the ball at the whistle, and were able to recover and score a against the kick TD. Next drive saw the visitors down a few players as the contest in the middle was taking its toll, a opening blitz on the visitors best ball handler Ramsey saw him get carryed off unable to take part in the rest of the game, opening a whole down the right side of the feild which they were unable to recover from, this saw the 2 teams go into the the sheds at halftime at 1-1...

2nd half promised to be a thiller, the homeside useing the Beasts own trick against them quickly reset there own line of defence b4 the kick off and were able to take away the advatage from them, the mass brawl in the middle only worsend due to that fact, and the visitors were slow to move the ball from down field, Dismay as one of the home teams favourates dodged from the middle of the fray and insipred a few of his team mates to attack the ball carriers down field, a gambit which payed off as this saw the visitors coughing up the ball and allowed the Brothers to go in for there 2nd TD.

with 3 turns still on the board for both teams, the crowd had done the maths and figuared out the home team just had to hold the visitors out, the open kick was shocking allowing the visitors to touchback and giving the ball to the most agile&stongest player on the feild for a dareing sideline play. but the dwarfs were able to mount a defensive pattern and slow the ball down long enough to frustrate the offence, and force them to try and make a risky play but the dwarfs had unsettled even the most experienced players on the Beasts team and they failed to score in the dying seconds.

well that wraps up what has been a VERY exciting game, and it was extremely well played by both teams, and it was no picnic for either side......

Ed Harsh here for Herd and Hoof Magazine

Well Herd fans it wasn't the Skink squishing fest we had hoped (in fact the ONLY skink hurt was a victim of his own clumsy dodge) but the kids put together a compentent offense to score the first TD and took advantage of a skull rolling Kroxigor to score the second. A RIOT in the stands over the lack of cool drinks available when the weather was Sweltering saw the game called off after only 4 turns...dissapointing for the stats but a win nonetheless.
Highlights go to Lions who surfed a saurus with a Stillitto to start the game, Gone who rushed and passed to score the first and some solid defense from everybody. The Lizards weren't without some exciting play either.
One skink pulled off a nifty 1D block on the ball only to have his efforts unrewarded when the goat herd regathered the bouncing ball...and a Saurus DODGED of all things to a ball blasting blitz that almost saved the second from going in...but an unfortunate skink trying to block without the block skill brought them undone. All up a delightful day in the paddock and another notch on the horns as we try to wrest control of the top of the ladder.

Hi this Lars Nielson reporting with the News in the North.

Well round 3 turned out to be all it was hyped up to be.The first match we're reviewing is Wickermen vs Good Old Days Return. The human lineup spent the day before the match at their local temples being blessed and recieving holy charms to protect them and bring them luck against that fearsome powerhouse undead team. This tactic by Good old Days paid off somewhat as they managed to salvage a draw against their living dead opponents. But now they return to the temples again to attend the funeral of team mate Dean Laidly.Unfortunately Gary Ayres could not attend as he was still recovering from a particularly nasty blow which will see him out for a week. Two all was the final result with Robert Walls being a standout for Good Old by making a completion and scoring a td.For the Wickermen Tanguy Tremayne,Arlette Ethnie and Briana Ardrason played outdtanding roles.

The next game on our agenda is the clash between Brisbane Boncos and Adelaide Anvils. The followers of G.O.D. had packed the stadium in the hopes of seeing some dwarves being slaughtered and the Boncos tried not to dissapoint them. The norse nearly killed one dwarf but their apothacary was prepared and saved the dwarf from an untimely end.But Kevin Walters from the Boncos was not as lucky, while the apothacary worked on one of his team mates he was left to die as no-one else had the experience to help him.The Boncos after winning the game 2-1,dedicated the match to him.Bonco's player Wally Lewis had a blinder scoring 2 touchdowns and completing a pass.Dwalin from the Anvils did what many dwarves can't,he completed a timely pass to get his team a touchdown. This feat earned him best on the ground for his team, unlike Bifor II who because of his lack of preparedness got injured and will miss a week.

My former team the Angry Asgardians took on those high scoring elves Flitter Mice and tried to stop their winning streak. But the Mice held on to win the match 2-1.The game could of went either way with both teams failing to capitalise on vital plays, but in the end Diver Derrick was too elusive scoring the winning touchdown. He was the most outstanding player in a rather lacklustre side, scoring 2 touchdowns.Frozen Tauros who constantly annoyed the elves with his blitzes and in-your-face guarding earned the norse mino the mvp. This win put the Elves on top of the table, but will definitely need to improve as their competition gets increasingly harder.

Our last match was a bit of a no-show as Lizardmen team the Horny Toads recieved a forfeit win.Toad's coach XZCion explained that the directions to the newest North Conference member the Black Water Blitzers stadium were incorrect. The SWL commission tried to get in contact with Blitzers coach Zippy_Underdog but got no reply. So the Toads got a well earned rest to prepare for next week.

And that's all from the North for this week,I'm Lars Nielson telling it to you straight from the norses mouth.
But stay tuned folks cause next up is Amazons gone Wild.....

Imagannabegot here and welcome Blood Bowl fans

Today we are looking at the round 5 match up between Brothers in Bloodbowl and Wanna Beatin, its going to be a terrific top of the table Clash, the winner basicly sercureing themselfs a 1 way ticket to "The show" and the losers back into the Confrences for next season, lets take a look at both the teams.

Wanna Beatin has just come of a 1-0 win over Forza Ferrari, which wasnt really convincing , thou left Forza Ferrari, missing 2 key players for there next match up, fans will be looking for a big effort from DaEncumbera, & DaLobba both of theses players will be vital to the attack of Wanna Beatin, this team has defected the Brothers in 3 out of 4 meetings in the past and should they come away with 1 more win here they will have taken a huge step to their assuslt on the SWL Premiership, Injury concerns are, DaPreventa and seening him out for the game will really open a whole in the defence...

Brothers in Bloodbowl, has just came of a 2-1 win vs Beasts of Bowl which went down to the wire, the team has be only getting better after the recent injection of cash thou a few wins in the confrences and has allowed the injection of some new blood, and more trainning equipment all of which seemed to have the team on high spirits, fans ill be looking for extra efforts out of Thragan Stonecrafter, and Dorik Stonecrafter, to help contain the the relentles attack of the Orc's, while injury concernes for the team are Bulthour Stonecrafter and Artser Stonecrafter, both of are holding off for fitness tests just before the game....

experts are tipping a close game either 1-0 or 2-1, both going the orcs way, with one expert saying "They have done it 3 times before and they will do it again", while from the dwarf side of camp theres new hope in the teams new found moral, and i quote Thragan Stonecrafter "The teams has much more depth now, we can play a pass game,we can grind the ball down pitch and we can hold out attacks and then counter attack"

Either way its looking to be a GREAT match up and Cable vision fans the game will be LIVE @ 8:00pm Sydney time, so fed the kids to the neighbours, and lock up the wife, and get set for a great night of BLOOD BOWL!!!!

Ed Harsh here for Herd and Hoof Magazine

WOW! That sums up this top of the table clash between 2 powerhouses of the game. The newish up and coming Damage Inc and the seasoned hard horns of the Black Crowes It was a studied, disclipened display of cunning, guile and might. Both teams coaches had their hands full tring to juggle sweeps and counter sweeps and blocking assingments. The Crowes looked to have a chance to steal a TD against the run of play to close out the first half but Lions got overexcited and tried a 1D block for no sane reason and went face down!
Gone held on to the ball til the last possible moment in the second half...swaying too and fro looking for an opening...finally had to throw a long pass down the middle and hope. Angels took the ball and pulled off the all or nothing dodge to secure the win at the bell!!! What a day for the Crowes fans!!!
A commanding grip on the South Conference table but it will be tense times for the coaching staff as they try to get past the dangers from below.. Stay tuned dear readers...this is unexplored territory for the kids....lets hope they can hang on!

Kooshee here reporting live from outside Wanna Beatin's training camp. Sorry for reporting so late in the season - it took me this long to get out of hospital from last season.
<Director> Kooshee, get on with it you idiot! I only gave you your job back because you sobbed like a little baby and ...
<Kooshee> AHEM! No need to be like that you poor excuse for a radio executive.
<Director> Don't push me, Kooshee. I'll let the team know you're out here. And remember we ARE on RADIO this time!
<Kooshee> No, don't do that. I'll be nice, sir. So, as I was saying, welcome to Season 7 of the SWL. It's now Round 5 out of 7, and I'm here reporting outside of ... *KOOSH*
(Kooshee is smacked to the ground by the team of Orcs, similar but even harder than last season)
<Director> Looks like they knew you were here all along, you poor fool.
<TEAM> We'z Wanna Beatin! We'z Wanna Beatin!
<Director, muttering> Not this again. Seems like that all this team can say is "We'z Wanna Beatin" ...
<DaSmasha> Wot dat? you'z Wanna Beatin? Hey you'z guyz, he'z Wanna Beatin !!!
<TEAM> WANNA BEATIN! WANNA BEATIN!
*STOMP* *WHACK* *SMACK*
<Director>OUCH! Stop it! Listen to me! *SNAP* Aaaiiieeeee !!!
<Kooshee> errrm, hehehe. Now it's your turn, SIR.
<Kooshee, professional voice> Yes folks, as you can see - I mean hear, this team is always ready for a beatin, especially on the Director here, hehehe. *CRUNCH*
<DaBasha> Hey, 'dis guy'z not squishy at all ... 'im! let'z get 'im again!!! (points at Kooshee)
<DaLobba> STOP! Wait a minute, guyz. Wif 'im sayin' stuff for uz, we can all be Super-Stars like me! (breaks into song) Yeah, I'm a Super-Star, dat is wot I is, no-one else 'ere is, I'm da Super-Star...
<andycapp> Well team, make up your mind. We have to get back to training for (shameless plug) 8:00pm tonight Sydney time, when we play the Brothers in BloodBowl!
(The team hesitates, looking at Kooshee)
<Kooshee> Yes ... ummm ... well, let's see here.
<Kooshee, professional voice> That's right folks! In what should be quite a strong match at the top of the West Conference, this lean, mean and green team of Wanna Beatin look like they are ready for anything. Uh, believe me on that one.
<DaFlinga> I like 'dat. "Lean Mean and Green". 'Dat's just like uz!
<DaLobba> 'Dat iz uz, you brick-brained numbskull. And you'z call yourself a Thrower. Looks like you'z lost your brain some time ago.
<Kooshee, professional voice> Ahem. Yes, there they are! The team currently leading the West Conference. Training very hard for what seems to be their signature move, their set-up play "DaWall". The remaining opponents better watch out for that one.
<andycapp> Hey, that's enough, now! No giving away our secrets. Besides, once the kickoff is in play, all of my coaching goes right out the window. If you can give me this one secret, then you can be our sole reporter. Think of it! No-one else allowed to report on us. Only you. It will be great!
<Kooshee> Well, I'm not so sure that's such a good deal there ...
(a shadow covers Kooshee. Looking up, Kooshee sees DaBludga leering menacingly, drool pooling in the corners of his mouth)
<Kooshee> OK, OK! I'll take your offer. Let me sign off and you can get back to training.
<Kooshee, professional voice> So folks, this is Kooshee, signing off live from the training headquarters of Wanna Beatin. Stay tuned for more updates from me - and only me - Kooshee.
<andycapp> well done, Kooshee.
(The team looks pleadingly at andycapp. Kooshee wonders what is going on)
<andycapp> OK guys, once more each. But then it's inside for lunch.
(andycapp turns, not wanting to see what happens next)
(The team forms a circle around Kooshee, bearing in on him)
<TEAM> WE'Z WANNA BEATIN !!!
*KOOSH* *STOMP* *KOOSH* *CRACK* *KOOSH* *SQUELCH* *KOOSH* ...

Mr Whippy's Three-Quarter of the Season Wrap

Well my lordy, I am a tad late for my Mid-Season wrap - must have been too long in the kitchen making my next batch of strawberry jam filled sugared topped donuts! Yum-Mee!

Anyway, with the Conference Leagues taking shape and the race on for first place and hence a guernsey in next seasons Premier League, we'll see how the various leagues are looking.

In the North, the Flitter Mice look the goods. They came out firing at the seasons start recording a couple of big wins and have simply said to the rest of the North Conference "Catch me if you can!" The Mice seem fit and healthy and as long as I find no mice in my Donut batter, then I am tipping them to take the title.

In the South, the race is much closer. I tipped the Black Crowes to come first and they do hold all the Donuts coming into the stretch after their recent win over second place holders Damage Incorporation. The Fyord Frollikars cannot be discounted either, but for me the Black Crowes are too big, too strong and too smelly!

In the East, the race is a two horse race between the Orc side Karaz Krasherz and the indominatble Khemri from the top turnbuckle, Smack Down. The title, in my opinion, will be decided when these two sides meet in a fortnights time in Round 6. I am tipping the Krasherz, but it will be close!

The West though is the most even Conference in my opinion with at least 5, perhaps 6 teams still in contention! I do believe though that the pivotal match will be in Round 6 when the Wanna Beatin clash with the Archfiends of Atrocity. This game will either secure the Orcs the title or throw the race wide open and perhaps clinch it for the Archfiends. At this stage, I am not prepared to put my Donuts where my mouth is... um, yes I am!... but I am still not game to tip a champion here!

Well thats about it!

Enjoy the rest of the season, enjoy the games, enjoy the weather, but most importantly enjoy the Donuts!!

Thanks Mr Whippy

Imagannabegot here and im standing with the Barrelette's, Offical cheerleaders for the Brothers In Bloodbowl, and dont they look lovely, short stubby legs, little pot bellies, and long shiny beards, what are they ceilerbrating about? well ill tell you today the Bothers went 2-1 over Soft'N'Fuffy in a slow starting game but brutal finish.

First drive of the game saw Soft'N'Fluffy kick the ball off to the Dwarfs, opening drive by the newsiest captin in tranning Segeuire Stonecrafter, under his Rookie leadership the open drive was a utter failure, which saw the drawfs lose control of the ball and give the orcs a massive positional advantage, and they were able to control the play on feild and hold the dwarfs down and keep them in the middle of the pitch, but it seemed one of the orcs made some comment about a dwarf tossing competion, and things changed abrubtly after that, as the final half time whistle blew, Howard for Soft'N'Fluffy was celerbrating his TD only to find 2 of his own players lying in agony and the rookie thower in grave danger but it was too late the damage had been done and and the apoc was allready working over time with the other 2.....

Goin into the 2nd half it saw the Orcs only being able to feild 8 players, and yelling was comming from the dugout of the dwarfs to the tune of "I DONT CARE ABOUT THE 1ST HALF, NOW GET OU THERE AND WIN"... every dwarf must have been listening to that half time speech, casue they all looked fired up for the game, Segeuire Stonecrafter wanting to make up for his earlier failuire lead by example attacking the ball as soon as the kick off, which saw his efforts rewarded by a hand off from a team mate and he was able to score the equalizing TD, Artser Stonecrafter not wanting to missout on a trip to the "Show" took the feild to lead the Brothers in a impressive attack on the ball , and leaving the orcish attack looking sluggish and confused, Artser quickly took control of the ball and went in safley for the winning TD.

well that sums up a HUGE game, both teams played well the orcs making very few mistakes, but the Dwarfs wer able to make some plays and in paid off for them, which sees them in with a chance for the Premier League, as long as they can defeat the Peno Pancakes next week, then there fate lies in the hands of nuffle, Signing off Imagannabegot....

Well folks, it turns out the Kazicam has been possesed and is recording images of a game stranger than seeing a den full of wolf cubs being raided by a hen's party. Perhaps its just a side effect of the 'Tassie Flux' - random fluctuations in the southern wastes' magical poles.

In the process a diminutively egotistical impish demon appeared from nowhere and decided he'd rent out the cam's internal apartment. And he won't budge. Everybody knows how difficult it is to dispose of unwanted tenants.

Nevertheless, the little imp has a fetish for whipping up oiled renderings of the scenes the camera sees - but even more strangely, it appears his renderings never lie and never need all that fiddling around before taking the usual shot! Strange, but infinitely more reliable than the old cam, so nobody is complainin'.

Anyway, back to the game. With the new cam reporting it spot on, its difficult to refute...but the khemri came outta da gates playing like a bunch of meesely elfs. Pickups, catches, long bombs, back and forth across the field 3 times. Alas, they all came undone when within blitzing distance of a try, a blitz-ra decided to buck the flow and go back to risky bashing instead of making a dodge. That was pretty much the turning point of the game. It's a risky business messing with the winds of magic.

In the end, the Karaz Krasherz stormed home for a riot-interrupted 2-0 win over the Smack Down in a bizarre game that saw not a single cas go to either side.

Ed Harsh here for Herd and Hoof Magazine

Wow again! Yes dear readers the Mighty Herd has held off their dwarfish cousins from the Shadow Void in a tense thriller! With a handful of handicapps (4) Brouhaha's Revenge! Had a slim chance early but horny defence and a well timed blitz on the ball from Taller saw a scrum form and and no points scored in the first half.
But with numbers back on their side come the second half a methodical push up the middle saw Taller carry over the lone TD in the match to give the Black Crowes a victory and place their destiny firmly in their grasp! With only one match to play it appears it is still a must win game against the Orcs in the last round unless a few other results fall our way.
On a sadder note we must announce the death of StareItCold. The Crowes have played 37 games and with this quiet unassuming Beastman now grazing in the big paddock in the sky there are only 3 goats left with a perfect attendance record. His stats won't show any great deeds but he was a constant presence on the field and a tireless force behind the scenes. Lions has gratefully agreed to sing a self penned tune at the wake. Hoof Prints On My Heart, an ode to StareItCold, will be out soon in a limited edition single. Proceeds, as always, benefit the family.
Stepping in to fill the gap on the roster is a young up and comer CypressTree All of the Mighty Crowe family look forward to welcoming this kid on board for the big season final!!!

Blue Mountain Dragons 3 def Southern Waste Warriors 0

In a very one sided game, the Dragons totally outplayed, out bashed and out scored the Dark Elves from the Southern Wastes in front of a paltry 68,000 fans at Mt Victorious Stadium.

The Dragons big win is pleasing, but the team is aging terribly and is along way past its Premier League winning days of only 2 seasons ago.

As an example of this, star Blitzer Vallee Heitz at the post-match press conference where he won the Game Ball for best on ground, announced that his knee had become alot worse and was retiring effectively immediately.

A sad day in Dragons history that such a stalwart of the side will no longer be there, but a type of day that will need to happen more frequently if this aging side is to regain its glory days.

Signing off from Mt Victorious,

Mr Whippy
