I ended up being distracted from fixing the problem. Will make another attempt tonight. |

Ok, this should be fixed now. Those of you who got the error message when editing your group pages can (or well.. need) to edit your groups again and set the ruleset setting again (as it was zeroed out while the bug was in effect). |

Ruleset 61 - Owned by Suttbutt
Custom SPP limits:
3,8,15,24,35,46,57,
Apparently this has resulted in teams Mr. Wednesday's Sevens and Nurgelf having skill rolls on every single player.
I suspect that the ruleset ending with a comma has resulted in the client reading it as
3,8,15,24,35,46,57,0
In any case, I had a talk with Kryten and he said we'll discover the problem together, as well as find out if ready/unreadying the team after fixing the rulset will work, or alternatively if we delete all skills, when the players next reach the custom SPP limit (3), if they will actually get their skill. I'll edit the post when we find out! Stay tuned!
Edit:
So what ended up working out was selecting then deleting all excess skills.
Interestingly, players that reached 3 SPP had 2 skills to roll. |

Most fascinating. This means 0 is a valid value. Have you tried what happens when you do multiple 0s? |

I think that's a pretty reasonable assumption.
Doing an unready/ready cycle doesn't fix this problem. The most reliable fix for this would be to:
1. Fix the ruleset setting.
2. Have a staff member delete the extra skills on the team(s) affected.
3. Have the staff member "magix fix" the team (relcalculates TV)
Once this has been resolved, the team will function as normal. The system counts skills on players after each game and compares to the number of "expected" skills. If the player has too few skills, skill rolls are made to cover the difference. The players don't "remember" the number of skill rolls made or anything like that, so I don't expect issues with future skill rolls. |

I would expect one skill roll per 0.
Effectively, a setting like "3,7,12,0" works sort of like this on a player:
1. Count the number of skills on the player
2. For each number in the SPP limit list, count the number of expected skills:
a) Check the first number. If the player has SPP equal to or higher than the number, add one to the expected number of skills
b) Repeat for each number on the SPP limit list
So what happens for a player with 2 SPP is:
Is 2 >= 3 ? No, so do nothing
Is 2 >= 7 ? No, do nothing
Is 2 >= 12 ? No, do nothing
Is 2 >= 0 ? Yes, expect a skill for this level
So the player would be expected to have one skill. Since it didn't, a skill roll is made.
As a side effect of this, you could make a SPP limit list like this: "6,6,16,31". This would give two skills to the player once it hit 6 SPPs.
Another side effect is that the ordering of numbers is irrelevant (ie, "1,2,3" is the same as "3,2,1").
Now, skills aren't tested for at team creation (it's part of the post-match sequence), so a zero SPP limit will be applied after the first match. |

when we created a team with "create team for this league" on group page, why team are not automatically registered on this league without must coaches apply membership? |

I would have thought that was fairly obvious. Creating a team for a league through the group page does not mean the league wants you to join. |

No, they need to be part of the group where the tournament is run.
Open play matches are possible assuming teams are in groups using the same ruleset. I may end up opening this up further down the line but for now it's pretty limited. |
