Greetings. We are a young studio Punga miniatures with big ambitions.
We create our first team Toa Orcs.
Toa Orcs team
The creation of the team inspired us to the Maori culture, Toa in translation from the Maori warrior, brave, champion, winner.
We consult about Toa Orcs with NZ BB community in order to better reflect the essence of the rich Maori culture in our miniatures.
Background
The Toa Orcs team consists of wild orcs living on islands in the far sea. These are experienced navigators and warriors, they often make raids on the banks of Nippon and Katai.
They are known as fierce dangerous opponents both on the battlefield and on the football field.
Command structure
Will represent 2 blockers, 2 linear orcs, 2 blitzers, 2 throwers and one big guy. The list of players and the number may change, but can not become smaller.

Thank you for reading, sorry for mistakes. |
This thread is to discuss the above miniatures. It will not be to discuss the ethical, moral, racial or political implications of said miniatures. This will be the only warning.
Cheers, and enjoy
Josh |

So the miniature looks cool. I look forward to seeing more.
It would work very well as a stand in for savage orcs. I think there needs to be 2 different models for Blockers, Blitzers and Linemen. The variation will help make the team interesting.
You asked before what starting roster people take with Orcs. Typically it is one of these two -
4 Black Orc Blockers
4 Blitzers
1 Thrower
2 Linemen
3 Rerolls
Total 990k
1 Troll
4 Black Orc Blockers
4 Blitzers
1 Thrower
1 Lineman
2 Rerolls
Total 990k |

One of my pet peeves is dynamically posed miniatures with only one model per position. With standard poses (think classic Space Marine or old 3rd edition Human linemen) repetition is fine, but with dynamic poses (bb2016) it just looks stupid if you've got 4 Black Orcs all doing the same thing.
I also dislike Big Guys who are throwing team-mates.
So I agree with Garion, at least 2 models per position and 3 for linemen if you go with 4+ of them in the standard box. |

One option to add variety would be interchangeable heads and /or arms.
This gives quite a bit more options but may make the sculpting and casting more complicated. |

Tagging along to what most everyone else has said:
Team
4 Blitzers
4 Blockers
1 Thrower
3 Linemen
1 Troll
and maybe 1 Goblin
As far as poses for the Blitzers and the Blockers, having two or three dynamically posed minis, yet supplying four unique head sculpts, may help cut down design time.
The linemen can all have the same static pose, but if you can make two or three unique head sculpts for these, that would be a bonus.
Really like what has been shown so far.
Never put a teammate in a Troll's hands. I would like to see what a Toa Goblin would look like. |

Thank you all for your advice and for the fact that there will be less politics.
We listened to you and we changed the structure of the basic team, now it is the classic composition of the orc team.
Basic command (12 miniatures): 4 blitzes, 4 blockers, 1 thrower, 3 lines
We will make this command in any case, each miniature will be either unique, or with replaceable parts for a change.
Base team (12 miniatures)
4 Blitzers
4 Blockers
1 Thrower
3 Linemen
We will do this team in any case, each miniature will be either unique or with replaceable parts for a variety.
If we are confident of the support of the fan community, we are going to launch a campaign on a crowdfunding platform such as kickstarter or indiegogo . With success, we will release an advanced team.
Advanced team (17+ miniatures)
1 Big Guy
1-2 Goblins
+1 Thrower
1-2 Linemen
1-? Other

We finished the second miniature - "Toa Orc Blitzer"
Unfortunately it is not painted at least as the previous one, when our artist is free he will do it.
We opened the pre-order (one or all miniatures) if someone wants to support the project at the early stages or paint miniatures first. Link
Once again, sorry for the bad photos and what do you think about miniature? |

I just opened a tread in reddit thinking wether a less armoured "savage"orc team would be good option to use Apes (Simyin) rules. https://www.reddit.com/r/bloodbowl/comments/6s35sz/how_do_you_like_the_idea_of_using_savage_orc/
I dont kow hom much models do you plan to make but to make Apes rules an option You would need 2 throwers, 2 goblins, 4 Black Orcs 1 big guy and line orcs. Of course this is not priority but I feel these models would fit the idea.
Good Luck on Your project. |

Thanks for the opinion, interesting idea. If we collect a large team where there will be a goblin and a big guy it will fit your parameters. |
