The Downtime League is not really a league, but more of a resource.
Are you an [L] coach?
Do you have times when you want more [L] games per week but have no games due?
Do you have [L] teams that have no home or are looking for another proper tourney?
Do you have an [L] team that you want to skill up?
Do you want to play with this team(s) in a progression tournament with like minded coaches rather than one off meaningless games?
Well if the answer is yes then sign up here..... The Downtime League
This is a user-run group that allows you to play casual tournies that are over in 2 hours or two weeks as long as you find your opponants on the group and ask if they want a mini-cup or mini-league.
I envisage this as a resource that you use yourselves and maybe you join with a couple of friends who you like playing regularly. You will all be staff so you can set up tournies yourselves.
Coaches can post here if they are interested in joining or they can apply to the group. Also participating coaches can advertise their intentions to run a mini-tourney at a given time here and drum up interest.
Remember there are no plans for any OFFICIAL PROGRAMED tournies in this group. They are all casual!! |
