More than double the cost. Enough that I wouldn't bother with a run of dice because I would much more likely lose money.

my preference is the coloured ones, makes them more unique compared to naf/fumbbl dice

Please put me down for a set as well. The black/white could easily be painted ourselves for proper coloring, though I would pay for the laser etching. I saw someone mention Kick-Starter to fund this project and that is a great idea.

I would gladly pay $15-$20 for a set of multi-colored etched dice. Is there any way to see a test-run of the laser etched dice? Frankly, if they look really nice I'd be willing to help finance this project.

I'm happy to colour them myself, although I'm happy with the white-both down, and the yellow-pow dodge.

Please move to to 4 sets.

Put me down for a set at up to $10US, and maybe if it's more.

I prefer the all-white, but I like them both.

i would go till $40 for the etched bicolor sided set (i may be the only one).
But i get your point.

Let us know how the prices, maybe we could do a special shot for the hardcore who want the etched bicolor-sided set.

As BCH said, this would not be a problem with Kickstarter.
You could run a kickstarter to see if the full colour etch gathers enough dedicated backers. If not, run a new one for the tricolor, one-per-side option.

Just stumbled upon the thread for the first time and I'm considering to get a set, too. Don't put me on the list right now, it's more than I should afford right now... but I'm definitely interested and I agree the dice should be really special, even if they get (way) more expensive that way.

If you set up a Kickstarter thing for those dice or a final decision has to be made, please raise some attention to it first - with a blog post or, even better, news entry!

By the way: Awesome work, WhatBall - as always. Smile

I'd be in for at least one set up to $20, and possibly two or more sets if they come out to around $10 per set.

Also keep in mind with Kickstarter you can set multiple contribution levels and have different options at each. For example you could have one level be a $10 contribution that gets a set of "normal" dice and another option at $20 for a "premium" quality, or whatever.

Either way it's a great idea, given the cost that the NAF dice sell for on eBay I think the interest is there.
