Do you think that a CLAWPOMB nerf is necessary? |

IMO, the effectiveness of that combination takes away from other improvements to the ruleset. Skills such as +AV, Grab, and Fend have diminished value as a result. |

I think there should be some changes made to this combo as well as some other stuff. |

I think that PO especially is a blight on the game at high TVs. Personally I can live without a clawpomb nerf since I 1) prefer low/mid tv play anyway, and 2) can just turn down matchups against pombers, but I do think a change would be good for the game in general. |

Personally, I think it's claw. You only see the combo on teams with access to [M] skills. Yes, PO is also brutal but it has two serious drawbacks. Your main (one of them) take-er-out-er is on his back and ready to accept a boot and the other is loss of mobility.
You fiddle with PO and you fiddle with every player with access to [S] skills.
I also think the simplest way is to just boost their costs or have a premium kick-in when that triple combo is built. Money, or TV, is huge. If the skills were doubled when combined, you would have a +120TV for just one player. Or just boost Claw to +40TV...
One on the field is fine but when you are facing 2-4, yikes...cost would discourage that.
Game mechanics should always be in a state of refinement but you have to do it in small steps. If you don't then you just end-up with a new problem and pine for the old one...
Nerf PO and you just killed Khemri and their Blitz-ras for example...And [M] teams still have MB and C!
My two noob cents... |

Claw is necessary as a counter to high AV teams: what do Chaos/Nurgle/Pact/Most Bashers do vs. Dwarves and Orcs, if Claw did not exist?
If anything needs fixing it's Piling On.

I have always been against the idea of PO being able to reroll injury. A reroll on armour is fine. Perhaps to limit its use, they suffer an armour/injury roll as well. |

I agree in general.
However, I see a problem that a 20 TV skill can counter up to 90TV worth of skills (AV10). If +AV was applied AFTER claw, things would be a bit fairer. |

Stacking Claw and MB was a bad idea.
Allowing PO to reroll injury was a bad idea.
Throw them both into a cheap 3-skill combo......... |

Dirk Hartog here,
The real problem is purely pychological in nature:
People get attached to their players and not focused on winning games.
Lose the attachment and clawtomb ain't a problem.
Most people come on to dote on their players, not to play moneyball, e.g., "I love my blah blah, look at him go"
This just helps me spot the narcists.
Your Stength 5 Agility 7 Wardancer is not an extention of yourself.
Instead learn to love yourself and live in the now (Ekhart Tolle 1927).
CLAWTOMBERS are also unhappy people killing players brings them joy not different to a hamburger or nugget. But it wont bring them fufillment
Learn moderated skills when learning
END OF STORY LOCK THREAD AHHAHAHHAHHAHH I AM SO GOOD. WATCH OUR STAR RISE
Namaste,

Yea. Err.. no. Í'm not a pixel hugger. It's being down by three players turn one that isn't enjoyable. I don't like playing my favorite game with that handicapp alot of the time. So I switched to R division. I just feel that's a shame. B could be more awsome.
I like your vibe tho.. just not in this regard. |
