With peasants, knights and some specials rules( Knights are always first to move and you need to make a sort of animosity roll for passing) and a famous team : Albion Wanderers.

They weren't Bretonnian. They were from Albion. Hence the name Albion Wanderers.

The only official roster was the one from 4th ed gold that I posted above.

That is correct but Albion and Bretonnia are different places. The peasants had Forelock Syndrome, what ever the hell that was.

I don't think bretonnians existed when 1st ed BB came out, I might be wrong, but I don't think they did.

Bloodbowl world is not warhammer world.
Bretonnians did not exist in warhammer world when bloodbowl is published. But there is a team of knights and peasants.

BB world is the Warhammer world, just an alternate universe due to an event in the past (i.e. the rediscovery of BB).

However yes, Albion fluff from 87 would have been based around Knights; either Henry VIII or Arthuresqe.

I thought BB world started separately, then was brought into line with the Warhammer world in later editions - something which Jervis then regretted. My twopenneth.

true but there was an official Bretonnian roster in 4th edition bloodbowl. I have posted it on the first page.

however 4th edition lasted less than a year which you can see in this hand time line I created - http://fumbbl.com/help:TimeLine

That's the model line, not the fluff.

It's always been the same world but alternat and a more lighthearted approach where more is plausible.

What I mean by that is he tied the model line to the warhammer line (high elves and chaos dwarfs being the most obvious 2), which then made people believe the 2 were one, which is too stifling for BB.

The snotling roster was actually good fun then, one of the few good things to come out of 4th ed, having a huge amount of snotlings on the pitch was just fun ( you roll a d3 for every snotling before kick off and got an additional 1 or 2 for each player depending on your roll. They were still terrible but at least they were fun unlike the terrible Ogre roster in CRP.
