I said I wanted to score a overall rating but I did not now how to manage it without:
1-beeing unfair
2-have too much too calculate.
Honestly calculating the stats for every player is a though work and I still didn't have actualised them (even if I will) so calculating a score by comparing team qualities and so on is too difficult.
But I will still introduce a system. I know that this system will not be fair but it will be fun, at least.
Every player score in his overall scoring 1pt per point he gets in his league.
for exemple, a player scoring 9pts at the end of the season earns 9 overall points. If he had 6 from the previous ones, he's now at 15 showing the best team in terme of durability.
But there is something more (and I need approbation for that). Every round there will be a "challenge". If he is succeded it adds you a point in your overall score. The challenge is selected randomly by dice roll. For exemple:
Theme of round 1: score 2 TD.
Suppose you loose 3-2. You're league points are at 0 (a loss) so you gain 0 for overall rating + 1 for succeded challenge.
Exemples of challenge:
-scoring TD
-causing Cas
-kill an opponent
-leave opponent to 0 TD
-make 3 passes
-etc...
I will copy and paste this pm in our discuss thread. send there how you feel about that idea and eventually if you have ideas of challenge, considering that there should be an equal amout of easierer bashing challenges and agilitys challenges.

any place is open since I create variable numbers of groups with between 4 to 8 players with playoffs and it starts tomorrow. I will set it up around 5-6 I guess (GMT+1) |

ok, i got my first match played on day 1 so thats a possitive start.
Won 2-0 so things are going well for now
scored 2 TD so completed round 1 challenge - do i have to do something mo0re to earn my bonus point or just wait?

Playoffs:
considering the number of rounds that has to be played by each group (they are inequal) it means the theorical number of turns differs by one or to so 15days or a month to wait.
Well that is acceptable but I now need to think about how many team are qualified.
4 or 8
4 is ok for every group with 5 players (4 guys qualified out of 10 guys -2goups*5players)
but it is quite hard for TR 100-125 group: 4 guys out of 20 is a few.
so the usual answer would be take 8 guys in this.
But considering will we already end 15days or a month before them so if they play a round more than other groups we will wait 1month and a half roughly:
so I thought on 3 possible options:
-take 4 guys into playoffs
con: hard for TR 100-125
-take 8 guys into playoff:
con: pretty easy to qualify in a TR range with only 10 players total
-take 4 and 8 respectively:
con: a long delay before starting season 3 for some players.
I want the point of view of you and maybe some arguments.
Anyway a rule precision:
-The first of each group is qualified
-the rest is qualified considering their points + challenge points
AND they are selected within overall TR range classement
e.g.
group1 points challenge points total
team A 15 3 18
team B 8 3 11
team C 5 2 7
other team
group 2
team D 10 0 10
Tean E 9 4 13
team F 9 3 12
so then who is qualified
A and D automatically (first of respective groups in term of points-challenge points is tie breaker)
the remaining team qualified are E anf F since they have the most points in total and not B even if they finished second in the other group.

Another suggestion:
Groups with 20 teams: 8 to the finals
Groups with 10 teams: 6 to the finals, the first of each group gets automatically to the halffinal |
