Nerves of Steel for both, followed by Dump Off for the passer come next skill.

I'd take SA on the thrower, and Dauntless on the catcher. Strong Arm makes your thrower more reliable, while dauntless gives you more choice as to whom to blitz with. An MA9 blitzer is quite useful, on any team.

Woodies? NoS is a waste for woodies...they never have problems scoring anyway. For the catcher, dauntless, then block/tackle/stripball, and he's a perfect safety; for the thrower, hard call SA or MA, but I'd probably go SA, then acc/safethrow; stand back, let receivers get open, then step forward to heave downfield safely and powerfully for the score. Easy as pie.

Dauntless for the catcher, strong arm for the thrower, but I'd change the order of eagle's suggestion and go safe throw / accurate with the thrower. Safe throw really is the more important skill.

Please tell me y'all are joking on Safe Throw. There's no more worthless passing skill in existance, let alone on a doubles roll.

NoS is definitely not a useless skill on any team, especially Elves. Give me a NoS/Dump-Off thrower of elven variety over Accurate/Safe-Throw any day. That's almost as mean as the old 2nd edition Diving Tackle.

Cervidal, we're not saying take safethrow with this skill, just as a future guidelines for next few skills to take. And don't tell me safethrow is worthless...it's way overpowered imho!! In the last 5 games for my skaven, I've had 8 int's...every single one called back due to safethrow, in one game three int's same game!

How on earth are your opponents letting you get yourself in position to nab eight INTs in five games? You either have a half-dozen AG5 Pass Blockers with NoS, your opponents are fools for consistantly throwing the ball over the heads of your players, or your luck has been immeasurable.

I've played Blood Bowl for eight years, and I can accurately recall all four INTs my teams, including on the FUMBBL, have been successful at, and that even included a 2nd ed. High Elf team with both Lion Warriors being dedicated to nothing but pass blocking for over 150 games.

No way is Safe Throw an automatic skill, or one I would even suggest within a player's first five skills.
