Dark Elf team lineups

LRB4 Starting Rosters

Variation 1

  • 11 Linemen
  • 3 RR's
  • 8 FF

An option for a safe start but it will take you a while to get those nice positional players. On the other hand, it will skill up the linemen, which is tough later, and give you a solid base for those positionals.

If you expect to play vs lightweight, non-bashy teams for the first game or two, consider to take advantage of the cheaper reroll cost and defer getting the apothecary till after game 1 or 2.

Variation 2

  • 1 Blitzer
  • 10 Linemen
  • 2 RR's
  • 9 FF
  • Bank 10k

At the expense of RR's and Fanfactor more speed and blocking power in the team.

Variation 3

  • 2 Blitzers
  • 9 Linemen
  • 2 RR's
  • 7 FF

At the expense of RR's and Fanfactor more speed and blocking power in the team.

Variation 4

  • 1 Blitzer
  • 1 Witch Elf
  • 1 Thrower
  • 8 Linemen
  • 1 RR
  • 9 FF

Playing all linemen or almost all linemen limits your team's performance. By having all the positionals you will find that there are enough linemen around to do the dirty work, and enough MA and skills to pull off a TD. 9FF means you buy an apothecary after the 1st match, and if you are lucky, you will be able to buy a Reroll the second match, and Blitzer, Witch Elf or third Reroll the third.

Variation 5

  • 2 Blitzers
  • 1 Witch Elf
  • 8 Linemen
  • 1 RR
  • 8 FF

Dark Elves are more suited to a running game so the thrower is less important. Players with Block are essential. Possibly even swap the Witch for another Blitzer and FF
