It's June, 2017. Wow. I haven't played on Fumbbl with any regularity in a decade. I've played over 1000 games here but that was between 2004-2007. That's crazy this place still exists and is doing well.

Looking around I can see some familiar faces which is awesome, but it's also strangely nostalgic. It makes me sad to see so many people missing, yet it's been forever since I played too.

I haven't played any games yet but I've created a Skaven team to try and get started again. I considered a Chaos team but I'm not in the mood to sit all day waiting to get games (I do enough waiting for matchmaking in Rainbow Six Siege :).

It's doubtful anyone will remember who I was at this point, which I'm hoping to use in my favour. I initially created a Chaos team to battle other "tough" teams to stand up for the weaker teams that usually got bashed. Somewhere along the way I lost myself in the statistics and became what I fought against, using whatever advantage I could to stomp my opponent. I routinely gave up TD opportunities to try and cause another casaulty, to rise in the rankings for individual players.

I'd like to get back to my roots, develop my game and be a more difficult opponent. It will be some time before that happens as I'm basically new here and I've got some dangerous water to tread. :)
