About
Taken from Insignia Cadre www.cadred.org; website.

Greetings to you all. My name is Teemu "wAbbit" Hiilinen from Espoo, Finland. I live here with my wife and four year old son, Lassi. I work as a nurse in the local hospital and also act as a union spokesman. Let's take a look to my gaming "career".

I started gaming over two decades ago with commodore-64 and I still do believe that it had some of the best games ever. No one can forget the joystick breaker number one Decathlon or the gauntlet which was the birth of RTS games. But the best game ever made for the c-64 has to be Elite! During this 22-years I have learned and seen alot from gaming and games. After c-64 getting old I got my hands on amiga. It really wasn't what I was looking and off I went to PC world.

On the PC's I stayed long time in single player games and concentrating on real life. Have to tell you all, it really pays off to have life when you are 20 and be geek when you are 30. I started online gaming just 5 years ago with Day of Defeat. I'm still in quite love for the old game, the old scene what Day of Defeat had. I fell in love the online world, it was fascinating. You could achieve alot by just being good.

In two years I was leading Team Finland to take gold in the Nations Cup. Year from that I was leading the most succesful Day of Defeat -clan ever, spite. Then the sudden switch in game style of Day of Defeta forced our clan to move on. We moved on to Call of Duty and it did really fit on our hands. Just after couple of months continuous gaming and rising to top, we were invited to join Destination Skyline. THE MGC of Finland at that time.

At that time the dark side of the onlinegaming really showed it's face on me. I changed to power hunger, some of the old friendships were lost and those would never be the same. I wanted to win, I wanted to be the best, but like often people don't get what they want. Also the face of MGC was really shown to me. Lot's of them promise you moon from the sky, but you get nothing.

I got really frustrated at that time to whole gaming. I was very close to walk away from whole gaming. Leave it, but I didn't wanted to give up. You can never win if you give up. Well, I don't want to win anymore. I'm here to work for the games I love, work for the scenes, to make computer gaming known and respected issue in Finland.

At the moment I work for Finnish gaming magazine called PC-Pelaaja also I do shoutcasts for only gaming show on Finland. Working in the cadre is really what I love to do at the moment. We have had our ups and downs in here too, but really Insignia Cadre is the most promising MGC in the Finland. I want it to become wellknown, not just in Finland, but in World too. More than that I want Insignia Cadre to be known in outside of gaming scene in Finland. That's why I'm here. This is my call.
