Can't play or properly spec
Howdy gang.

I am having just terrible issues with my Java it seems.
I can do anything on the Internet I need to do just fine (email, Facebook, etc). No problem.
I can access the FUMBBL site for mail, messages, etc.

When I try to launch a game, I can get into it, and see the players on the pitch, and watch them move.
I can move my mouse, but the client does NOT display the character card.
When I try to exit the game, I get the "Do you wish to exit" box, with the Yes and No buttons to choose, but whichever one I click does nothing. The game just continues, and won't close. The box also doesn't go away. It just stays there.

I have to bring up my Windows Task Manager to finally get the game/client to close. It always hangs up a second, then I choose End Now. It always gives me Java SE Binary is not responding.

I haven't seen too many fixes for that on the Internet, but the one I did see requires me to open Java to try to configure the settings. I can't.

When I get the first menu, again, no matter what I click on, I get no response. It makes me feel like Java is corrupted, but having uninstalled/reinstalled it several times now, it's not helping.

I just got my PC back from a guy that does repairs. I was having this problem, so I took it to him, hoping this would get solved. I ran the client at his location, and it was perfectly fine. Tried several games, and had no issues whatsoever (mouse over players showed their cards, etc).

I get the PC back to my house, and it goes back to not wanting to work.

Anybody have any ideas as to what I can do, or do I have to hire somebody to come inspect this home network?
Any ideas you have would be appreciated, as there are 2 leagues that are counting/waiting on me, and I don't want to disappoint them.

If it worked at his and not at yours I would guess it will be a firewall/antivirus issue with your ISP. Put up details of any anti virus software and what ISP company you use and someone may be able to suggest settings that would help?
