Yeah, since the last java update this has been insane.
Game crawls to a slow after a period of time.

I've noticed a slowdown for sure - sometimes takes 10 seconds for the ball to travel and land when kicked, which didn't happen before.

I use OpenJDK. Haven't noticed any issues .. ;)

Hmm. I assume the last java update was a recompile for Spectre/Meltdown, which requires some vulnerable optimizations to not be used anymore. *ponder* I wonder if that means OpenJDK is still vulnerable. ;-) *shrug*

same here! Parts of the match is really painful sometimes during major lagg....
