Boring Spectators
Looking forward to playing the majors. I had a fun first game vs in my opinion the most feared team on Fumbbl atm chuck vs blood. What was really nice too and what has allways been nice about majors where the spectators and what they add to the gmae. we had +40 of them jay!
But they where so boring. they made a few sounds and then wend totally quiet.
What actually happened was that they wend boring over and over at the start of the game and both me and Random Oracle turned them off. exactly same thing happened at the WO game that was running at the same time as our CoS game.
Its a Shame really! because specs and sounds really adds to tournaments. But atm one emote and the posibility to spam it just takes it all away.
ohh and it would be nice too if the sounds stacked like in the old client so we could have that MIGHTY CHEER when some one scores and not a bunch of che che che che che cheer.

There are at least 4 sounds that I know of, and I think there are one or two more that I've forgotten about. Too bad all 40 spectators only knew 1 sound and they all knew the same one.

Totally agree. I was playing in the warpstone match you mention and had to also resort to the mute button. Would have preferred a bit of atmosphere, but better silence than that boring sound.

I cant understand why there are so many idiots, i looked to and they spamed "BORING" We told them to stop but no.
Why not let all see who it is that spam and then a adm can kick them from spectators.
Or people need to be atleast 18 in there mind to to be on this site, but then again we would lose half of the people on fumbbl :)

I hadn't had the pleasure of a game with so many spec that I noticed sound-stacking wasn't implemented. Kind of a shame. Those 100+ spec games late in the tourneys could get deafening when a great play was made. Gave some REAL atmosphere, the kind of stuff you can't match in most games.
I wouldn't mind /boring if people didn't abuse it. But as it is, it's mostly used by griefers.
