Age of Sigmar Bloodbowl
So it's been a little over a week now since I started work on trying to bring the various armies/factions of the Age of Sigmar lore into the realms of Bloodbowl. If anyone wants to check out the teams and give them a shot go for it Age of Sigmar Bowl. If people want to help out or provide suggestions, check out the Forum Page for this project. The more eyes who take a look at this the better. Besides, I'm doing this for people to enjoy after all :)

So far, I've managed to figure out the rosters for 5 out of the 18 teams on the docket. As with all things they will be tweaked as time goes on as I get a better feeling on them and to better balance them. So far I've knocked out the Clan Verminous, Daughters of Khaine, Gloomspite Gitz, Shadespire, and Stormcast rosters. I'm currently poking at the Kharadon roster in an attempt to get it to work.

When I'm making these teams, the first thing I do is approach it from a fluff and lore perspective. I try to figure out what they are and known for and try to integrate it into the positional rules. I also take a close look at how the actual models look to see if they can inspire any ideas. I also try to keep teams from being carbon copies of other teams. That was a particular issue when I was working on the Gloomspite Gitz team.

Once I figure out a basic idea of the team, I start hammering out the actual details. What skills go on what. Do these skills interact too well or poorly? Do things make sense? I try to keep as close as possible to Galak's team builder suggestions for cost. A lot of the things on these teams have gone through more than a few revisions before I decided they were balanced/ready enough for playtesting. I figure that more such balancing will occur as time goes on until it gets just right.

I've gotten a few questions about whether or not I plan on including CRP and other custom teams in this system I'm working on. For the most part, I don't like reinventing the wheel if I don't have to. GW and Garion have done great work on creating teams and many of the teams that exist still exist in AoS lore.
