So just 5 months after we got our first baby, and now its time for the other end of the journey thats life.
My beloved father passed away about 2 weeks ago after awakening one night with stomach pain. 3 weeks later his life finally ended after 9 days intensive care.
He had a good life I think and he's last day outside the hospital was spent celebrating.
His death will always be with us just as the memory of him in life and the past few days has brought the rest of the family together.
Tomorrow is the funeral.
Life goes on, for some of us its a brief journey and for others its a long one.
