Which one of the admins is messing with me?
Me best Squig Hopper, Number 2 just rolled his fourth (6,6) skill roll. Seriously–– who's responsible for this?
If no one comes forward, I formally request that the admins alter the rules in this one instance and allow this player to take an extra +ST, since it seems that Nuffle has clearly decreed he wishes it to be so. Evidently he has been vexed by the (new?) stat-increase restrictions of the CRP, and since the admins are themselves coaches, I do not think it would be prudent to tempt his wrath in this case.
(No glory to me––all I did was press the button––but this must be some kind of record, no?)

ever seen the skryre slave teams? assuming you want to play them at all, you have to be very careful about your tv. Admittedly, the only other team where it matters is snotlings, but giving someone like goblin cheaters tons of inducements isn't all that good either. So, unfortunately, team balance the way it currently is HIGHLY encourages minmaxing tv in stunty leeg.

Yeah, Nelphine is dead on. Stunty Leeg (and even non-leeg stunties) need to be fired with brutality, because while a human lineman with block and dodge might be worth 2 unskilled linemen, a goblin with SS and SF is definitely not worth 2 unskilled goblins. More bodies is more important. And many of the stunty star players are insanely good/undercosted so it pays to not give excessive inducements to your opponents.
But none of that is the reason I fire healthy players. I do it because I need a goblin or two with block and kick, and in 28 goblin skill rolls, I've only gotten 2 doubles (both long gone). And I also want a squig with Tackle, and in 18 squig skill rolls, I've only gotten 1 double (killed next game). And it's faster to skill a new player from up to 6 than 31.
But hell, call it whatever you will. I cannot find it shameful to be labelled this elusive term which has produced hundreds of pages of discussion and yet still has no solid definition... and is evidently practiced by virtually every coach on the site.

bollocks. minmaxing in stunty is TAKING IT FAR TOO SERIOUSLY. the whole div is about silly fun and sprites dying. winning should be LAST in order of priority, --- get a life people.

The minmaxing is a bit off but great hopper. I have a Hopper (Big King) with s5 a5 after 3 stat rolls. A joy.

In stunty, the ultimate goal of killing things is being the last on the pitch and WIN
All your player do on the pitch is trying to win
You can have fun or frustrate yourself during the winning resarch, but that's the goal of the game, make at least 1 TD more than your opponent (no matter if you achieve this killing or elfballing)
